that Daniel avoids the oods enjoyed by the king, and eat only vegetables and drink only water.

Purpose o 21-Day o Daniel Prayer and Fasting:

The purpose o every prayer and asting is to grow closer and intimate with God Every time you entera period o prayer and asting, you will grow stronger in your spiritual li e, and youll dedicate your li emore earnestly to the Lord. and visions, especially to live the years ahead. (Daniel 1: 17)

Try to set aside some time for devotional every day, same time, same place. If you are married, set aside some time to pray with your spouse and family,

Each one o us surely desires to lead a success ul li e. Te key to that is simple, justbe a person who relies on and pleases God! David has proven this. Te secret toDavids success was not his courage, his war experience, intelligence, leadershipability, or nancial status. Instead, the key to Davids success was simply his li eattitude who always depends on and pleases God.

When Joshua was chosen by Moses to lead the Israelites to enter and takepossession o Canaan, Moses reminds the young and inexperienced Joshua to havecon dence and the courage to act. As a result, with Gods provision and Mosesencouragement, the Israelites nally were able to take possession o Canaan.

When people around us begins to lose con dence in themselves and ail toaccomplish their purpose, let us encourage each other through positive words, because positive words are like a prophetic saying about someones uture. Nomatter how ruined a persons past may be, or how bad his ailure had been, as longas we are with God, He is able to make our uture wonder ul.

Who among us have has never heard o Daniel, a young man who re used thegenerous o er o King Nebuchadnezzar to supply him with everything that hewould ever need. Why did Daniel emerge as a young man who dared to voice his

aith be ore the king and the people? An excellent spirit rom the Lord has givenDaniel courage to voice his aith. Daniel 1:3-4 shows that Daniel is someone whois thirsty or knowledge. Many people think that they have known enough, whenwe should always thirst or knowledge as a newborn baby thirsts or milk (1 Pet2:2). Te excellent spirit also helps Daniel to lead a holy li e, which we must learnand have in our own time.

Te Bible says that the world will not get better. Tere will be a lot o di culties, natural disasters, and challenging times. How should we endure when are aced withthose di culties?

    1. Persevere in prayer and reading o the Word o God2. Be aith ul in little things and be ully surrendered to God.3. Walk with God

Tese three things will become the oundation so that we could always persevereacing the days ahead o us. When problems happen, do not run away rom Christ,

We seldom spread the love and possessions that God has given us to oursurrounding. But as a person that has been redeemed by the blood o Christ, weare supposed to express and reveal the love o Christ to the people around us.

It is a reality nowadays, that many people build intimacy with God based on theirneeds. Its true that we need money, job, house, a spouse, ood, etc. All o these areneeded or us to live. But i we build the relationship with God only based on thesethings, then we only keep on asking these needs on our prayer, then our spirit willnot grow and we cannot be really be intimate with God, because our motivationis only based on our needs. Lets change our heart... Build intimacy not because o our needs only, but because o our deep longingness to see Him.
