English 9: Digital PoemAll the way till the endBy: Karen Kim

Lily started off as a healthy baby

She was small but fearless

She brought everybody joy

All the way till the end

The first few days we brought her home

She did nothing but eat,

sleep and playShe was hard to manage

But she still remained in our heart

Until she got a little bump

On her head, started out small

But got larger each and everyday

Doctors said it was a head tumour

We cried and plead that is wasnt something big

But turns out it was

Not knowing what to do

We just cried all day

She was family

And still is

She was innocent

She didnt deserve it

She stayed at the hospital

Day and night

We visited her everyday

Hoping shed get better

Months pass but we stayed by her

Giving up wasnt a choiceWe fought with her everyday

But she just laid in bed

We werent done

But something popped in our heads

We forgot to consider the fact that

She was in painWe knew it was the right choice to make

Heaven gained an angel that day

She passed away slowly

Her eyes closing gradually Lily started off as a healthy baby

She was small but fearless

She brought everybody joy

All the way till the end
