Observer Corps This is a new initiative with the goal of having a Leaguerepresentative present at the meetings of localgovernmental bodies, both to observe the actions takenat the meeting and to report on the issues considered atthe meeting. These reports will help the League to trackthe current important issues in Austin and surroundingareas, and to incorporate that knowledge into the contentof the Voters Guide and the Candidate Forums.

Most all governmental meetings are held online, so thisvolunteer role can be done fully from home. Of primaryinterest are City Council Meetings, County CommissionerMeetings, and ISD meetings, but if you have an interest infollowing any other governmental groups, we would behappy to work with you on that goal.
