The EDDT is comprehensive• Correlates to specific components of the 2002 U.S. Code

of Federal Regulations and the 2004 Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).

EDDT Self-Report Form

• Provides a standardized approach to help clinicians obtain a child’s perspective of his or her functioning in IDEA areas.

• Intended to be used in conjunction with the EDDT Parent and/or Teacher forms to develop a well-rounded picture of an individual’s functioning.

EDDT Parent Form

• Adds a parental perspective to the evaluation of children with ED and helps meet the IDEA requirement of parental involvement in making eligibility decisions as part of an IEP.

• Available in Spanish.

The Emotional Disturbance Decision Tree is the first instrument of its kind that provides a standardized approach to assessing emotional disturbance (ED). It addresses the broad emotional and behavioral nuances of children who may require special education services for ED. With the addition of the new EDDT Self-Report, the EDDT family of products helps you assess behavior from the perspectives of the teacher, the parent, and/or the child or adolescent.
