Learn what ELP is all about and get inspired by meeting recent ELP alumni, Anna Ishikawa Fernandez (’11) and David Sakoda (’10). Hear their stories about their life after law school and how the ELP certificate is working to shape their career path! Anna Fernandez is the Department of Land and Natural Resources’ (DLNR) Department of Conservation and Resource Enforcement (DOCARE) Legal Fellow. David Sakoda is the current fellow at the Department of Aquatic Resources (DAR). David works closely with staff biologists and a program manager to address marine law issues, review reef and fisheries related statutes and rules for amendment, and supports the enforcement of DAR resource damage cases before the Board of Land and Natural Resources. Prior to his DAR fellowship, David served for two years as the law clerk for the Honorable Gary W.B. Chang. ELP is proud to feature its alumni who are hard at work in the government sector!
