Ellis International Day Friday, May 20 th A celebration of the international studies and heritage of all Ellis students and community members. Come one, come all! All families are invited to attend and participate in International Day activities. Students and families are encouraged to wear traditional clothing from their culture or background. Schedule: 12:30-1:30 Welcome tea & treats hosted by Arabic staff in lobby Ellis International Marketplace in gymnasium 1:30-2:30 Country presentations in classrooms International food tasting in classrooms Parent volunteers will be doing henna tattoos at recess (henna lasts 1-3 weeks). Additionally, students will be sampling homemade foods from various cultures. If your child has permission to get a small henna tattoo on their hand (image shown here) and/or to sample homemade goods, please sign below and return to school.
