Nick Hansel, representing Lancer Legacy (second from left), and photograher Mark Mess were recipients of the 2018 North Scott Community Fine Arts Awards which were presented during North Scott's Winter Concert Sunday, Dec. 9 at the high school Fine Arts Auditorium. The Lancer Legacy fund, led by Hansel, has raised $200,000 for improvements of the auditorium, and Mess has volunteered hundreds of hours and donated cast pictures for Lancer Productions, Countryside Community Theatre, and others groups for many years. The awards, presented by NSP co-publisher Linda Tubbs (l) and Rotarian Bill Tubbs (r) have been co-sponsored by The North Scott Press and the Rotary Club of North Scott since 2004.
