Tomatoes, eggplants, cauliflower, broccoli, bellpepper. Peas, chickpeas and all types of beans including products made from beans ( papadams, tofu, tempeh, grain beverages etc) Indian vegetable   Karele (bitter lemon), loki (Water groud) parmal, toroi, kunli, drumsticks, okra (Lady fingers), babana flower  All leafy vegetables   Spinach, salads, cabbages and leafy herbs like parsley, curry leaves, neem leaves etc. Grains   millet, barley, farina, dalia, pasta, rice, corn, all types of dahl and all types of flour made from grains and beans (like rice flour, chickpea flour, urad dalh flour etc) Starches from corns or grains and products made from and mixed with these starches like- baking soda, baking powder, certain soft drinks, custard, certain yogurts, puddings, cream cheese, sweets, candies and tapioca- balls. Oils made from grains   corn oil, mustard oil, sesame oil etc and products fried in these oils   nuts, potato chips certain snack foods. Honey   Do not use any cooking ingredients that might be mixed with grains, such as ghee that has been used to fry puris, or spices touched by hands dusted with chapatti flour. Spices that are used on Ekadashi are   turmeric, black pepper, ginger and rock salt (salt taken from a new or clean package) Foods that can be taken in Ekadashi   All fruits (fresh and dried), all nuts and oils made from nuts. Potatoes, pumpkin, cucumber, radish, squash (but no loki), green papaya, lemon, jackfruit, avocado, olives, coconut, buckwheat, all sugars, all milk products.  As per His Holiness Kav icandra Swami Maharaj  "Srila Prabhupada said no grains no beans. In my opinion the others are voluntary, not mandatory. By meditating on Me by means of those deeds one will obtain devotion characterized by love in the shape of the supreme service.Brahma samhita. 5.61One needs to be careful in observing the Ekadashi, one must chant more, read Holy Scriptures, participate in Kirtan etc on Ekadashi days and avoid eating grains totally. Also should take minimum Prasad on the Ekadashi day so as the time saved in eating can be utilized in KC, if one can do nirjala fasting on all Ekadashis then its good as that's the standard. Actually one is supposed to avoid eating grains in the evening a day before the Ekadashi and then eat only fruits / nuts / milk / milk products and not something heavy on Ekadashi day and then should do all night Kirtan on the Ekadashi night and then break the fast the next day in the time prescribed for breaking the fast.can visit below link for more details:
