Possible High School Credit
In an effort to align with Cherokee’s Spanish Program, middle school students will cover the content that is taught in Spanish I during their seventh and eighth grade years. In addition to our district assessments, Cherokee’s midterm and final will also be administered. At the end of seventh grade, all students will take the midterm exam. At the end of eighth grade, all students will take the final exam. Students who excel in World Language, and receive an overall A or B average from the combined seventh and eighth grade years, inclusive of exam grades, will receive one year of high school credit in a World
Language, and be offered placement into Cherokee’s Spanish II program.
