편의상 앞벽 가쪽벽 뒤벽으로 나누나 앞쪽과 가쪽의 경계는 불분명하고몇몇 근육이나 피부신경의 경우 앞과 가쪽 모두에 존재하기 때문에앞가쪽 배벽(anterolateral abdominal wall)이라는 용어를 사용한다

Anterolateral Abdominal Wall

- The anterolateral abdominal wall extends from the thoracic cage to the

pelvis. The major part of the wall is musculotendinous.

- 서로 반대편의 배바깥빗근과 배속빗근이 함께 공통된 중심널힘줄(central tendon)을 공유함으로써하나의 운동 단위로작용하는 두힘살근(digastric muscle)은 형성한다.

- 예를 들어 오른배바깥빗근과 왼배속빗근은 몸통회전운동(torsional movement of trunk)을 할때 굽힘과 돌림 운동작용에 함께 작용한다.

All three flat muscles end anteriorly in a strong, sheetlike aponeurosis.

The aponeuroses of these muscles interlace at the linea alba with their

fellows of the opposite side to form the tough, aponeurotic, tendinous

sheath of the rectus muscle - the rectus sheath. The decussation and

interweaving of the aponeuroses in the rectus sheath is not only from side

to side but also from superficial to deep.

• 엉덩두덩띠(iliopubic tract): 배가로근막의 아래모서리가 두꺼워진 것으로, 샅고랑인대의 뒤쪽으로 평행하게 달리는 섬유성띠

• 근육두덩빗구멍(myopectineal orifice): 샅고랑인대와 엉덩두덩띠기 덮고있는 샅부위. 배벽을 가로지르는 구조물과 관련되어 발생하는 이러한약한 부위에서 샅부위탈장의 장소가 됨.

• 성인의 경우 깊은샅굴구멍과 얕은샅굴구멍의 경로가 비스듬하기 때문에복압이 증가할경우 샅굴의 뒤벽이 앞벽쪽으로 밀면서 벽을 튼튼하기 만들기때문에 이러한 효과를 넘어서는 압력이 가해지지 않는 한 탈장이 생기지 않는다.
