The Hong Kong Polytechnic University Game Lab 遊戲實驗室 To carry out latest research and development in computer games 進行機玩遊戲的研究開發 電玩遊戲不單是一種消閑活動,更是一項重要的創意產業。近年 全球愈來愈多公司投資在電玩遊戲上,香港的電玩產業也由早年 以代理為主,轉為重視遊戲開發。今天遊戲開發和科技發展已經 密不可分。為配合電玩科技的發展,理大電子計算學系設有遊戲 實驗室,研究新世代電玩遊戲開發技術。實驗室備有多項開發新 款電玩遊戲的設備,方便學生學習遊戲設計、獎賞機制、遊戲人 工智能和3D程式編寫等全面的遊戲開發知識。 Computer gaming is no longer a mere form of entertainment, but has become an important creative industry. More and more enterprises are investing in computer games around the world. In Hong Kong, game agents dominated the market in the past, but nowadays the attention has shifted to game development. Therefore, technological advancement is dispensable to the game industry. To support the rapid growth of the industry, PolyU’s Department of Computing has set up a Game Lab which specializes in the R&D of innovative games. The lab is equipped with the latest computer game technologies. 電玩遊戲不單是一種消閑活動,更是一項重要的創意產業。近年

全球愈來愈多公司投資在電玩遊戲上,香港的電玩產業也由早年

以代理為主,轉為重視遊戲開發。今天遊戲開發和科技發展已經

密不可分。為配合電玩科技的發展,理大電子計算學系設有遊戲

實驗室,研究新世代電玩遊戲開發技術。實驗室備有多項開發新

款電玩遊戲的設備,方便學生學習遊戲設計、獎賞機制、遊戲人

工智能和3D程式編寫等全面的遊戲開發知識。

Computer gaming is no longer a mere form of entertainment,
