Business Resumption and Retention /Small Business Assistance

OPEN-ENDED QUESTIONGeneral Comments

“I placed the survey near the bottom because it would be unrealistic to conduct a survey prior to a disaster and expect abusiness to know what they would need for assistance. Conducting one after a disaster would be okay if it was one that gathered the information as they came into a business recovery center or reached out to those in charge.”

OPEN-ENDED QUESTIONSuggest Additional Issues

“Of course this all changes based upon the severity of the disaster. If we experience a Cat 5, then obviously there is a greater need to focus on job creation and retention. If however, we have a disaster that is not as bad as the "outside world" believes then the marketing to promote target industries is a bigger need.”
