2.3 Analysing your results

In order to analyse your results, simply add up the total of the scores you circled for each of the 7 sections in the eco-footprint calculation table in unit 2.2.

Write your scores into the top row of the table below.

Next, work out your percentage score for each section. (Your score divided by the total ‘out of,’ multiplied by 100) and write them into the bottom row of the table. Remember the lower the score, the more eco-friendly your practise.

From your % scores on the previous page, you should be able to work out your current outdoor session eco-footprint.

You can work out your Total Eco Score at the start by adding up your percentages from all 7 sections (the bottom row of the table on the previous page - unit 2.3 page 2),

and dividing your total by 7.

This Total Eco Score and the % scores for each of the Area of Practise Sections are out of 100.

The lower the score, the more eco-friendly your outdoor sessions are.

These scores can now be used in Unit 3: Improving your outdoor sessions ecological footprint.

* Keep the table and your initial scores as you will use them for the next units.

* You will need to submit a copy of this unit plus unit 2.2 with your ‘course completion form’ if you wish to receive a course completion certificate.
