“Ella,” said Ed, “say

“Where?” she squealed.

“Oh, where is my bsam?”

Then she sat on sam– by mistake of course – bshe must not have seen bhis pink-purple shorts. b

“Dad, where did samgo?” Ella said with a whine. b“ always runs off – samwell, maybe next time.”b

“I here!” said amsam. “Get off!

Lucky for , samElla stood up. b

“Achooo!” Ed sneezed bthrough his snozzly snout. b

cover his mouth. bSnozzly – silly way of saying “snozzle,” which is a silly word for “nose” – especially a big nose.

And got wet,samwhich he did not like. b“Can I please have a btowel so that I can wipe...” b

But his words were lost bas Ella screamed, b“Dad, oh, Dad, you bbought ice cream!” b

“ ,” said Ella, “you sammust have a bite...” and bthe spoon, by accident, bsmacked his eye. b

and covered his face. bHow was he going to bget out of this place? b

But before he could brun, Ella picked him up. b“ ,” she said, “have sama drink from my cup.” b

Then she put him bdown, on top of a ball. b“Whoa!” said samas he tried not to fall. b

But Ed was busy bremoving his boots. b

Bam! The boots

landed on ,samknocking him over band into the sand. b

and slipped underneath, bhoping that Ella and Ed b

Endless elephants ball in a row. b

But over his shoulder bwas the sea. No belephants there... belephant-free. b

the towel and his bglasses too. b

He stepped in

His heart said, b“Yes.”b

“Then goodbye bto elephants!” b

dove in. sam b
