DESCRIPTION
Rapid changes in today’s health care environment are spurring increased attention to the safety, quality, and consumer satisfaction with the long-term care experience. To thrive in this new environment, leaders need to assess their own performance as compared to peers and understand the relative performance of current or prospective partners. Organizations must share and use quality, safety, patient experience and other credible performance information reflecting local characteristics and priorities, while following national standards. This presentation will profile how to meet this need via MONAHRQ®, free software available from the federal Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality that produces evidence-based, customizable health care reporting websites. This session will offer case studies exploring how the software is used to meet regulatory reporting requirements, align with industry standards, and assist in business planning. Diane Stollenwerk, Lou Galterio, and Theressa Lee.
