Who Is Every One Eats?

Our Mission Statement

To help reduce food insecurity in the Detroit metropolitan area by offering a regularly scheduled, and free hot meal program ministry to individuals at Trinity Episcopal Church-Detroit in historic Corktown. We also welcome guests that may simply need a good hot meal!

What is Food Insecurity?

As defined and measured by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), “food insecurity is the lack of access, at times, to enough food for an active, healthy life for all household members and limited or uncertain availability of nutritionally adequate foods.”

In 2017, Wayne County, MI

had a food insecurity overall

rate of 19.5%, as compared to

12.5% for the United States.

That translates into 344,440

food insecure people in Wayne

County! (*data from Feeding America)

New Partners Are Always Welcome!

We’re always looking for additional churches, organizations or groups that are willing and able to support increasing our food serving days during the month

Our Program and Additional Assistance for Guests

We also offer a limited supply of adult clothing for our guests and also try to fill their personal hygiene needs.

Individuals and churches participate in providing limited age & gender specific gifts for our guest’s family children for the holiday season.
