The Hounds hold a 1-0-1 record against Louisville this season. Pittsburgh defeated the foe, 1-0, courtesy of a Neco Brett penalty kick goal on April 6 at Louisville Slugger Field and tied the foe, 0-0, on Sept. 7 at Highmark Stadium. Despite holding an all-time record of 3-5-4 against Louisville, Pittsburgh has never beat the adversary at home (0-4-3). Pittsburgh is currently riding a 12-game unbeaten streak. The last loss came back on Aug. 17 against North Carolina FC, a game in which the Hounds played down a man for more than a half due to a red card. Pittsburgh is 8-11 all-time in postseason play. Last time out in the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals, Riverhounds SC defeated Birmingham Legion FC, 7-0. This tied a club single-game record with seven goals scored (all competitions). Seven goals are the most the club has ever scored in a postseason game. In this Conference Quarterfinals match, Neco Brett scored four goals. He became the second player, joining Thiago Martins, in club history to score four goals in a single match. Brett is now the club’s all-time leading postseason goalscorer. The Hounds are undefeated (10-0-0) when forward Steevan Dos Santos scores a goal. The Hounds had six players (Neco Brett, Steevan Dos Santos, Kenardo Forbes, Robbie Mertz, Kevin Kerr and Anthony Velarde) who posted at least 10 points this regular season. This is the first time in club history at least six players have recorded double-digit points in a single season. This year, the Hounds have 20 clean sheets in 38 matches across all competitions, including league, postseason and Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup play. In 20 matches across all competitions, Pittsburgh is unbeaten at home (13-0-7). 2019 REGULAR SEASON RESULTS League Record: 19-4-11 Home: 10-0-7 • Away: 9-4-4 • Non-League Play: 2-1-0 MARCH Sat. 16 @Tampa Bay Rowdies CW L, 0-2 Sat. 23 @Swope Park Rangers CW T, 2-2 Sat. 30 @Bethlehem Steel FC CW T, 2-2 APRIL Sat. 6 @Louisville City FC CW W, 1-0 Sat. 13 HARTFORD ATHLETIC ESPN+ W, 3-1 Sat. 20 SAINT LOUIS FC ESPN+ T, 0-0 Sat. 27 NASHVILLE SC ESPN+ T, 2-2 MAY Sat. 4 @Charleston Battery CW T, 2-2 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Round 2* Tue. 14 DAYTON DUTCH LIONS* ESPN+ W, 3-0 Sat. 25 CHARLOTTE INDEPENDENCE ESPN+ T, 0-0 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Round 3** Wed. 29 INDY ELEVEN** ESPN+ W, 1-0 JUNE Sat. 1 @Indy Eleven CW L, 1-2 Sat. 8 OTTAWA FURY FC ESPN+ T, 2-2 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Round 4*** Tue. 11 @Columbus Crew SC*** ESPN+ L, 0-1 Sat. 15 @Atlanta United 2 CW W, 5-0 Sat. 22 NEW YORK RED BULLS II ESPN+ W, 3-0 Sat. 29 BIRMINGHAM LEGION FC ESPN+ W, 4-1 JULY Thu. 4 BETHLEHEM STEEL FC CW W, 1-0 Sun. 7 @Charlotte Independence ESPN+ L, 0-1 Sat. 13 TAMPA BAY ROWDIES ESPN+ T, 1-1 Sat. 20 NORTH CAROLINA FC ESPN+ W, 1-0 Sat. 27 @Hartford Athletic CW W, 4-2 AUGUST Sat. 3 MEMPHIS 901 FC ESPN+ W, 4-0 Sat. 10 SWOPE PARK RANGERS ESPN+ W, 3-2 Wed. 14 @New York Red Bulls II ESPN+ W, 2-1 Sat. 17 @North Carolina FC ESPN+ L, 0-5 Fri. 23 LOUDOUN UNITED FC ESPN+ W, 1-0 Fri. 30 @Ottawa Fury FC ESPN+ W, 4-0 SEPTEMBER Sat. 7 LOUISVILLE CITY FC ESPN+ T, 0-0 Sat. 14 CHARLESTON BATTERY ESPN+ W, 1-0 Sat. 21 @Nashville SC CW T, 0-0 Tue. 24 @Memphis 901 FC ESPN+ W, 1-0 Sat. 28 INDY ELEVEN ESPN+ W, 3-0 OCTOBER Tue. 1 @Loudoun United FC ESPN+ W, 2-1 Sat. 5 ATLANTA UNITED 2 ESPN+ T, 1-1 Sat. 12 @Saint Louis FC ESPN+ W, 1-0 Sun. 20 @Birmingham Legion FC CW W, 1-0 Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC > riverhounds.com > @RiverhoundsSC > #PITvLOU No. 1 seed Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC advanced to the Eastern Conference Semifinals after taking down 10th-seeded Birmingham Legion FC, 7-0, in its first-ever playoff win at Highmark Stadium on Saturday. • TECHNICAL STAFFHEAD COACH BOB LILLEY

Announced as the club’s 10th head coach in its history on Nov. 14, 2017, Bob Lilley will enter his second season at the helm for Riverhounds SC.

During his first campaign with the club, Lilley led the Hounds to a 15-5-14 record, which includes the second-highest win total in team history. The squad also posted a club-record 17 shutouts during regular season play. Under his guidance, the team placed third in the Eastern Conference en route to hosting its first-ever playoff match at Highmark Stadium.

Lilley came to Pittsburgh after coaching the USL-side Rochester Rhinos, which he led during two separate stints (2014-17 and 2010-11). In his six seasons with the Rhinos, Lilley compiled an 82-39-51 regular season record, which includes a 2015 mark of 17-1-10 en route to winning Coach of the Year honors and the USL Cup. He also was named Coach of the Year in 2010, when Rochester won the USSF Division 2 Professional League regular season title. The Rhinos made the playoffs in every season under Lilley and achieved at least a fourth-round finish in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup from 2014-17.

Before joining the Rhinos ahead of their 2010 season, Lilley spent the 2007-08 campaign as head coach of the Detroit Ignition of the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL). He earned Coach of the Year honors, as the Ignition logged a 22-8 record and won the league’s regular season championship.

For three seasons (2005-07), Lilley served as head coach for the Vancouver Whitecaps of the USL First Division. While with the club, he guided the Whitecaps to a 33-20-31 overall regular season record and a league championship in 2006. From 2002-03, Lilley was the head coach for the Montreal Impact of the USL A-League. He directed the club to the playoffs both years and amassed a regular season record of 32-15-9, in addition to winning Coach of the Year honors in 2003.

The Fort Monmouth, New Jersey native began his head-coaching career with the Hershey Wildcats, which he led from 1997-01. In his five seasons with the USL A-League club, he compiled an 86-46-6 overall regular season record and was named Coach of the Year in 1997, his first-ever campaign as a head coach. Hershey made the playoffs each season with Lilley at the helm, including a trip to the A-League final in 2001.

Across his 18 seasons of head-coaching experience at every level, Lilley holds an all-time record of 270-133-111, has logged at least a .500 winning percentage during each regular season and has led his team into the postseason every year. He also has won two league titles and earned Coach of the Year honors five times. In 2010, he was inducted into the USL Hall of Fame as a coach.

Lilley played professionally with the Orlando Lions of the American Soccer League from 1989-90 (two seasons) and the Maryland Bays of the American Professional Soccer League in 1991 (one season). He also played professional indoor soccer with the Hershey Impact of the National Professional Soccer League (NPSL) from 1988-91 (three seasons), the Harrisburg Heat of the NPSL from 1991-97 (six seasons) and the Pittsburgh Stingers of the Continental Indoor Soccer League in 1994 (one season). From 1984-87, Lilley played collegiately at George Mason University, where he was a four-year starter and team captain. He was inducted into the George Mason Men’s Soccer Hall of Fame in 2011.

    Five-time Coach of the Year

Dan Visser enters his third-full season as an assistant coach with Riverhounds SC after originally joining the club in July 2016.

Prior to arriving in Pittsburgh, Visser served as an assistant coach at the United States Naval Academy during its 2015 campaign. The Midshipmen finished this season with an 8-9-1 overall record. From 2013-14, Visser was head coach at Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, Massachusetts. The Lions held a 3-14-0 record during his first year and improved to 5-12-1 during his second season at the helm. Visser began his coaching career at the NCAA Division III level, serving as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Eastern University in St. Davids, Pennsylvania. During his two years at Eastern, the Eagles compiled a 21-11-2 record and had 11 student-athletes earn All-Conference honors.

The West Chester, Pennsylvania native played collegiately as a midfielder at Messiah College for four seasons before graduating in 2008. During this period, the team won three national championships and accumulated an 89-6-2 record. The two-time team captain also received Regional All-America honors in 2007.

After coaching the club to its most single-season goalkeeper shutouts (17) in team history, Hunter Gilstrap returns for his third straight season as goalkeeping coach with Riverhounds SC.

Logging an 11-season professional playing career, Gilstrap spent six years (2010-14, 16) with Pittsburgh. In 2010, he was named USL-2 All-League First Team and Goalkeeper of the Year. The keeper ranks tied for ninth with 102 appearances and second with 25 shutouts all-time in team history. In 2015, Gilstrap played for the Carolina RailHawks of the North American Soccer League (NASL). He made nine appearances with the club and also played two games for the USL-side Charlotte Independence while on loan from the RailHawks.

From 2007-09, the Lexington, South Carolina native played for the Cleveland City Stars. His professional career began in 2006, when Miami FC selected him with the No. 13 overall pick in the USL-1 Draft. At the collegiate level, Gilstrap competed at Clemson University from 2001-04 and attended the College of Charleston for his senior season in 2005.
