getsomegreatrewardsintheprocess. LetYourGreenShowhas3phases:1.Phase1 Growlocal/Eatlocal(July1,2012 October31,2012)

2.Phase2 Uselesswater(March22,2013August31,2013)

3.Phase3 Giveyourcarabreak(Fall2013)

Phase2focuses

on

actions

you

and

your

family

can

take

to

decrease

your

water

usage. Lessthan1%oftheEarthswaterisavailabletousasfreshwaterinstrea

rivers,lakes,andgroundwater. TheEarth'sfreshwaterisbeingusedfasterthani

canbereplenished,andusingwaterrequiresenergy.Themorewaterweuse,the

moreenergyisneeded,andmoreharmfulgreenhousegasesarereleasedintothe

Earth'satmosphere,soweneedtodoourpartbydecreasingourwaterusage. A

partofLetYourGreenShowyouandyourfamilycanchoosefromalistofactionsconservewaterandgetsomegreatrewardsintheprocess. Formoreinformation

ScoutreesisaCanadawideenvironmentalprogram,runb

ScoutsCanada,whichisdesignedtogiveScoutsthe

opportunitytodemonstrate,throughtreeplanting,their

concernfortheenvironmentandtohelpbuildacleaner,

greenercommunitythatislesssusceptibletoflooding. Th
