A Well Respected Family Business Since 1939Established in 1939 by the late Charles Dugard, C Dugard Ltd has always been a family business. Started just one month and

one day before the outbreak of World War 2, Dugard were involved in munitions manufacturing for the war effort. Then,

after the war ended we started supplying standard used machine tools to sub-contractors. Dugard grew gradually over the

years, eventually incorporating ranges of new standard machines and finally introducing CNC machinery in 1978. Then in

1982 the company relocated to our current purpose built 30,000 sq ft showroom in Hove.

Today Dugard have gone from strength to strength, supplying high quality machine tools worldwide, though now, Charles’s

sons Eric and Bob are Managing Director and Chairman respectively. We’ve got an annual turnover of £22 million, offices

and showrooms in Hove, Rybnik in Poland, Moscow and Dubai and we represent an impressive selection of manufacturers

including SMEC Machine Tools, Tos Varnsdorf, You Ji, Matec and Chevalier as well as our own Dugard brand of machine

tools.

Dugard Sales TeamThe Dugard head office is in Hove, East Sussex and that’s a brilliant place for a machine demonstration with one of our sales

team. However, our sales team are based all over the UK so if you need any help or information they’re never far away and

they can always pop in to see you.

Dugard Technical SupportMuch of the company’s success stems from Dugard’s reputation of providing first class after sales support and service. We

have an extensive team which covers machine service, spare parts and programming assistance. We are confident that we

can action all queries and requests quickly and economically.

Applications Department Our team of applications engineers is available before and after a machine is installed at a customer’s site, offering

programme training and advice on our full range of machines, anything from programming and tooling advice to control

communications and parameters.

Service Department With factory trained service engineers to install and commission all the new machines sold in addition to making

breakdown visits, we have a busy team working all areas of the country. In the event of a breakdown our in-house

technical support staff initially offers advice over the phone, we aim to have engineers out on an emergency breakdown

the next working day. Every reported fault is of the utmost importance to us so we will endeavour to have it fixed as soon

as possible.

Spares and Accessories Department Our Head Office in Hove has 2,000 square feet of dedicated spare parts storage. We also have a small team in Taiwan

allowing us to liaise with our suppliers (both old and new), ensuring that an extensive range of spare parts is always

available. We supply the Dugard CNC range of machines to dealers throughout Europe and the rest of the world. This

makes our main facility in the UK the central hub for machines and spares.

Over 30 Years’ Experience Supplying Machines WorldwideDugard machines are sold through a distribution network in Europe, Russia, the Middle East and the Far East. Quick

deliveries can be achieved due to our stocking power. We have been one of the largest importers of machine tools in the

UK for over 30 years. This is due to our experience in sourcing high quality machines, established distribution network and

dedicated Service, Applications and Spares teams.
