Our Training Expertise

At Dti, we use a strategic practical training approach to re-enforce adult learning principles and cross groupexperiences and participation. Each course is based on a series of practical exercises. In line with the adultlearning principles, maximum use is made of syndicate exercises, case studies, field trips, role playing,management games, and plenary sessions; training videos and video playbacks, as well as action-planning.

Our Training CentresOur Training Centres

The centre provides ten (10) principal stateof the art training rooms with average securing capacity offifteen participants at a time. The largest room can accommodate up to 30 delegates.

Each room has specially-designed modular training furniture, combined with the latest tracked teachingsystems, which include televisions and powerful projectors. This enables our comfortable training roomsto be configured to a number of different teaching styles.

The centre has a fully networked computer laboratory, featuring the latest personal computers withwindows software complimenting our facilities; a 15 - 20 seater bus for transporting delegates to and fromdelegates’ guesthouses.

The buses are also used to transport delegates to and from the airport, field trips, both local andinternational.

Travelling Information

The total cost for each course does not include internationaltravel cost between the participant’s home country and thecourse venue. All delegates are advised to budget appropriatelyfor any medical contingency that may arise.

Participants must ensure that they have a valid passport andappropriate Visas for entering Swaziland.

It is advised that participants arrive in Swaziland at least a daybefore the beginning of the course. It is important to start earlypreparations towards securing passports, applicable visas, travelhealth and accident insurance, as well as any clearances that youmay need.

SADC member countries, as well as citizens of most ofCommonwealthcountries, donot requirea visaprior todepartureto Swaziland. In most cases, visas are issued at the point ofentry. If you are not sure whether or not you need a visa, pleasecontact us for further clarifications and procedures. Once inSwaziland, we will assist in confirming your return trip.

We strongly recommend thatdelegates purchase a health andaccident insurance from theirlocal travel agents, where theywill be purchasing their return airticket or from an appropriateinsurance company.
