Driver Definitions
Recruitment and Selection: Intentional and mutual process between supervisor and staff member for participation in EBP implementation based on established criteria, interest, motivation or other factors
Training: Provision of knowledge, key practices, new skills and opportunities for ongoing skill practice
Coaching: Feedback provided by staff and/or peers on concepts learned in training within the context of skill performance/practice
Systems Interventions: Creating or enhancing policies, procedures and regulations that facilitate an implementation and managing external variables, including policies or systems, that impact an implementation
Facilitative Administration: Creating an organizational context that is supportive, engaged in learning and continuously improving while keeping staff focused on implementation outcomes
Decision Support Data System: Using implementation data to inform decisions, policies and practices
Adaptive Challenge: Difficult to define, involves more complex solutions and are ever evolving
Technical Challenge: Easy to define and involves a clear, linear path to solutions
