Vocabulary Sign-upEach student will be

responsible for 10 words in a vocabulary unit.

Students will create a ppt. with 10 slides that include the word, part of speech, definition, picture, and sentence.

You may not be presenting until later in the year, but you may begin working on this at any time.

I will announce the due date for your unit at least one week in advance.

You may use music, sound effects, transitions, etc in your slides.

Summary/ClosureOne way to augment word choice

scores in writing is to infuse sophisticated vocabulary in written work. Vocabulary study should NOT only consist of studying words for vocabulary quizzes but using these words to make sentences more descriptive.
