NSERC University of Windsor Promotion of Science AwardThis $1,000 bursary celebrates both science and engineering achievements. This money will be divided to recognize extraordinaryachievement in the disciplines of life sciences, physical and mathematical sciences, and engineering. The prize money will bedivided among the top female in engineering ($200), the top student in life sciences category ($200), top student in physical andmathematical science and engineering ($200). This prize will also contribute $200 towards the travel expenses and the cost ofsending one of the top science fair project winners to the Canada-Wide Science Fair. An additional $200 will be given to the topperforming high school for the purchase of scientific equipment. Sponsored by K.W. WRSTEF2017 AwardsTop Backboard AwardThese prizes acknowledge excellence in science backboards to convey project information in the novice division. Awards consist ofcash prize. Sponsored by WRSTEF

Top Participating Elementary SchoolThis award celebrates the involvement and encouragement provided by the teacher and school in supporting student participationand encouraging excellence in grades 4 to 6. The top five participating elementary schools will be entered in a draw to receive aMad Science presentation for their school. A minimum of 250 student population applies for each school attending the fair. Theteacher contact will choose the date of the school presentation by contacting Mad Science of Windsor. Sponsored by WRSTEF.

University of Windsor - Department of Earth and Envrionmental Sciences PrizeThe award consists of a $200 prize to acknowledge the best project related to Earth or environmental sciences in the intermediateand senior project categories. Partners must split prize. Sponsored by the University of Windsor - Department of Earth andEnvironmental Sciences

University of Windsor - Faculty of Education Excellence AwardThis $500 award bursary celebrates the involvement and encouragement provided by the teacher and school in supportingstudent participation and encouraging excellence in grades 3-6. It is given to the school that receives the most medals (bronze 1pt, silver 5 pts, gold 8 pts.) and is based on a ratio between school population and medal standings. A minimum 250 studentpopulation applies for each school attending the Fair. A school may win the award only once in a three year period. University of Windsor - Faculty of Engineering CWSF PrizeThis award will contribute $2,000 toward the cost of sending a finalist the Canada-Wide Science Fair. Project must be in theEngineering Category. Sponsored by the University of Windsor - Faculty of Engineering.

University of Windsor -- Faculty of Science PrizeThe University of Windsor Faculty of Science Prize, as judged by a panel of three professors from the Faculty of Science at theUniversity of Windsor, will recognize the best overall senior science project. This prize will contribute $2,000 towards the travelexpenses of the winning scientists so that they can attend the Canada Wide Science Fair. In addition, each member of the winningteam will receive a Faculty of Science lapel pin, a certificate,. Projects in Life / Behavioural Sciences, Physical Sciences, EarthSciences, Computer Science and Mathematics and Statistics will be considered for the award. University of Windsor Entrance ScholarshipThe University of Windsor seeks to acknowledge the best Gold Medal Winning senior project from the WRSTEF. This scholarshipwill be applied to tuition fees when the student is registered in an undergraduate Science or Engineering program at the Universityof Windsor. University Of Windsor Faculty Of Nursing Health Sciences AwardThis award seeks to acknowledge the best three Novice/Junior, Intermediate and Senior projects which demonstrate experimentalresearch in the field of health.
