LAYTONVILLE, California - The 18 h Annual Kate Wolf Music Festival [KWMF], takes place June 28 th - 30th, at the beautiful Black Oak Ranch in Laytonville, California. It is one of Northern California’s most loved summer events and has been called “the best, the single best festival .” We are very pleased to announce this year’s slate of performers. Tickets can be purchased online, and the full line-up can be viewed at www.KateWolfMusicFestival.com . Some of this year’s special sets include KWMF debuts of John Prine, Angelique Kidjo (from Benin, Africa), Irma Thomas (the Soul Queen of New Orleans), Marianne Faithfull (yes, that Marianne Faithfull), Madeleine Peyroux (complete with band and string quartet), Paul Thorn Band, Rebirth Brass Band (from Treme neighborhood of New Orleans), and Perla Battala (long time Leonard Cohen back-up singer; she will also do a full Leonard Cohen set with her band). LAYTONVILLE, California - The 18h Annual Kate Wolf Music Festival [KWMF], takes place June 28th - 30th, at the beautiful Black Oak Ranch in Laytonville, California. It is one of Northern California’s most loved summer events and has been called “the best, the single best festival.” We are very pleased to announce this year’s slate of performers. Tickets can be purchased online, and the full line-up can be viewed at www.KateWolfMusicFestival.com.

Some of this year’s special sets include KWMF debuts of John Prine, Angelique Kidjo (from Benin, Africa), Irma Thomas (the Soul Queen of New Orleans), Marianne Faithfull (yes, that Marianne Faithfull), Madeleine Peyroux (complete with band and string quartet), Paul Thorn Band, Rebirth Brass Band (from Treme neighborhood of New Orleans), and Perla Battala (long time Leonard Cohen back-up singer; she will also do a full Leonard Cohen set with her band). This year’s late night Saturday show will see Poor Man’s Whiskey performing their “Darkside of the Moonshine” show (their bluegrassy take on Pink Floyd’s famous album ‘Darkside of the Moon’), with costumes a la ‘Wizard of Oz’ encouraged for all attendees (band included). There will be multiple Kate Wolf song sets (Sherry Austin & Henhouse, Poor Man’s Whiskey) and stories from Wavy Gravy and other old friends of Kate’s.
