Our goal is to offer our Dover youth opportunities for fun, adventure and growth. The “TC Summer Zone” will be open all summer long with great daily activities, trips and fun events that are sure to excite everyone!

Starting right after the last day of school, the Dover Teen Center will begin to change its programming, hours and prepare for an exciting summer. Please see below for a breakdown of our new hours.

The “TC Summer Zone 2019” only has room for the first 50 participants, so get your registration form in early, to secure your spot.

Sign-up for TRIPS is a very easy process. Every week, we will post the trips for the following week on the dry-erase board inside the TC, and it is up to the participant to put his/her name on the list for trips that they would like to attend. Trips are first come, first serve, so be sure to sign-up!

Times: Keep reading… the entire summer has been outlined, so you know when we’re OPEN and when we’re CLOSED.

Program Registration Fee: FREE!

Lunch: Lunch is not provided, unless oth-erwise explained in the schedule. On trips, many of the locations we travel to will have eateries available.

Clothing: Please be sure to dress appropriately for the day’s events. If we are on a hike, bring the right footwear, and a water bottle. Beach/Lake trips...bring towel, swimwear and change of clothes… get it? No matter the trip...you MUST come prepared or you may not be allowed to come along!

Do you smell that? It is summer, and it is coming fast! To keep up with the

demand of our participants, our hours of operation will be shifting once school is closed

for the summer.

Dover Teen Center - Summer 2019

The “TC Summer Zone” is a great way for kids to get out and enjoy everything there is to enjoy about summer, while experiencing all that is new around them. Any Dover youth in grades 6th thru 11th (as of September 1, 2018), who have been a regular member of the Teen Center are eligible to register for the program. Remember, there is no “Summer Program Fee”... registration is “FREE”, but some trips will require participants to bring their own lunch or $$$ for lunch, and other activities, as they desire. As you will see, each week will consist of a few major trips, and “drop-in” days to meet the needs of all of our participants. See the summer calendar for more detail.

This form is due back to the Dover Teen Center, no later than Friday, June 14th !!!

Because of the outdoor and social nature of our Summer Program, everyone’s best behavior is expected. If it so happens that a participant is not conducting themselves in a respectful manner and/or is non-compliant, we will contact the necessary family members and have them picked up. This is especially important because we may be out on a major trip, and regardless of our location, they will have to come to pick up the participant.

Remember, again, lunches are NOT provided, unless otherwise noted in the schedule. Appropriate clothing is always required. If staff feel that the safety of the kids or anyone else is jeopardized by inappropriate attire, they have the right to deny access to the trip scheduled.

Beginning in mid-July and lasting throughout the remainder of the summer, the Teen Center will be going through some renovations to turn

our existing pantry & snack bar area into a professional kitchen, along with the addition of an extended snack bar.

In addition to the construction, we be installing the following commercial-grade equipment:

WHAT DOES THIS ALL THIS MEAN & HOW DOES IT AFFECT TEEN CENTER PROGRAMMING?

Even more than usual, the schedule of our events, trips and happenings for this year’s “TC Summer Zone” may need to be altered to accommodate the

contractors needs...sometimes with very little notice.
