GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS Steel double-wave road barriers are intended to increase security in highways and reduce the severity of accidents. The double wave road barriers manufactured by Tecnovial work like a great continuous beam supported by bearings (posts) which are separated according to typologies and regulations in force, and the Manual of Highways as well as standard NCH 2123 of. 99. Tecnovial road defenses are manufactured in hot galvanized steel, which gives them greater durability and resistance. Tecnovial has an integrated management system which have been certified according to ISO 9001: 2008 Quality, 14001: 2004 ISO Environment, and OHSAS 18001: 2007 Occupational Health and Safety standards.     FUNCIONAMIENTO DE LA BARRERA

    Usos

    Las defensas camineras de doble onda, se utilizan principalmente en autopistas, carreteras y caminos hacia faenas mineras, constituyendo un elemento de seguridad vial fundamental para aminorar la gravedad del impacto de un automóvil.

    Las tipologías de defensas doble onda, logran niveles de contención liviano y medio.

    Nivel de Contención Liviano

    urbanas, donde existe predominio de vehículos livianos, que se desplazan a una velocidad máxima de 60 kmph. También es recomendado su uso como elemento de segregación para impedir el viraje de vehículos.

    Nivel de Contención Medio

    Recomendado para vehículos livianos que se desplazan a alta velocidad (menor o igual a 80 kmph), taxibuses y camiones de eje simple menores a 8 toneladas, operando a velocidad media de 70 a 80 kmph.

    Applications

    The double wave road barriers are mainly used on highways, roads and paths to mining operations constituting a fundamental road safety element to reduce the severity of the impact for a car.

    The types of double wave barriers achieve levels of light and medium containment.

    Light Containment Level

    It is used on roads defined as paths and streets in urban areas where there is a predominance of light vehicles travelling at a maximum speed of 60 kmph. Its use is also recommended as a segregation element to prevent the turn of vehicles.
