So please tell us about your new album “A Million Dreams”?-Well, the album basically represents my life at the minute, and my dreams of me breaking in to the industry and becoming a successful singer. It is obviously my first album, so it means a lot to me and I hope you all enjoy it.

What first got you into music?-Well I grew up always listening to music on the TV, so I decided to join the school’s band, where I played the guitar. From then on I became obsessed with practising and then I developed on to singing.

What famous musicians do you admire- I absolutely adore Rihanna, I think she is a great musician and an edgy role model. I love classics like Oasis and The Beatles. And also American bands like The Vaccines and Black Keys. I am a big fan of any chart music really.

How would you describe your genre of music?I feel like my music is pretty edgy. Every song has an element of

a different genre, and each song tells a different part of my life and the problems I have faced.

How was it like working with Ellie Goulding in your new single: Empire?

OMG, it was literally the best experience. I was so excited to meet her, and she was so lovely and acted like a true professional. I would love to work with her again.

Have you gained any famous friends?-Well I have a few numbers in my phone! I am friends with the gorgeous Cara Delevigne, and I sometimes speak to Marcus Mumford from Mumford and Sons. It is crazy.

How have you dealt with your recent rise in to superstardom? -It is so surreal. It hasn’t sunk in yet that people are shouting my name. I guess I am just so lucky, and I am so grateful for my fans support. I just never, ever imagined this would actually happen to me.

After the success of your first album, who do you plan to work with on your second? Could you give stream40 an exclusive?I would love too but I am not too sure myself yet. There are a few names that I would love to perform with, but it depends if they want me. It would be an honour. I would love to share a song with Two Door Cinema Club, or Jessie Ware.

Finally, is it true you are doing a UK tour this June?-Yes! It is true, I am so excited! The tour dates are yet to be announced but when they do I will post them on my twitter page.
