Offers more online classes than any other 2 year educational institution in North Carolina

Wake Tech 2016‐2017 Curriculum STATS:
31,472 unduplicated head count 16,350 students took at least one online course 7111 students who only take online courses 50,656 online seats filled

Two Pronged Approach
1. Student PreparednessDevelop a mandatory course for new online students 3 modules covering Expectations, LMS Skills, and Computer Skills Students cannot register for an online course until they have successfully completed all three modules
2. Faculty Preparedness Develop online standards for course design and delivery Create a mandatory certification program for online instructors
