Problems encountered during implementation

Just under half encountered problems with

Has the system lived up to expectations? Yes, Relais has lived up to our expectations. It is a very complex system to learn

however, as we gained confidence in the various components we are very happy with its capabilities. We now look forward to the OCLC integration and possibly RapidILL to improve and streamline our document delivery service for our clients and our document delivery staff. (Relais)

The system has taken quite a bit of getting used to. We are happy with it, day to day straight forward requesting is good but we have found some annoying things like adding notes to track actions and progress. (VDX)

Yes and no. It is a large improvement on what we previously had but as MilILL remains non-ISO compliant, there is still a large amount of double handling (copying/pasting) having to replicate requests on LADD (Millennium / Sierra)

The ease of use is not great. We no longer get email alerts and we have to search LA especially for journals before we use the system (Aleph)

National Library's ISO testing requirements took a long time. (Relais)
