1. Two Emergency Exits: Evacuate in a calm manner following the firewarden (wearing a red cap). Leave possessions behind! Your life ismore important!
2. First Aid: When you require assistance, ALWAYS approach one of
the staff members.
3. Any incident (fight, theft, fire, accident, etc.) must be reported.Request a form from one of the Student Support Officers or speakto the receptionist.

Student Card
A Student Card is your Australian ID.
Student Cards are issued by Student Services on the first day of the course.
Student Cards give students access to special offers, memberships and discounts.
ALWAYS have your Student Card on you.
Lost, stolen or damaged Student Card? Approach Student Services IMMEDIATELY!
Record Keeping and Accessing Records
1. Assessment results can be provided by request (approach StudentServices)
2. Assessment results are STRICTLY confidential: no results for a friend.
3. Assessment submissions, payments, requests for student card, mustbe completed in person by the student and not their authorisedrepresentative.
4. Students receive CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION after completingthe course.
5. Certificates ARE NOT issued in themiddle of the course.

Student Code of Conduct Students must follow the Student Code of Conduct established by Albright Institute:
• Albright Institute is a drug, alcohol, and smoke free zone. All students are prohibited from possession or consumption of all kinds of alcoholic drinks and illegal drugs at all times when on campus
• Students are expected to accept responsibility for the safety of themselves and other students at all times
• Neat, comfortable clothing is generally considered appropriate. Maintenance of personal hygiene is required
• Students are expected to be environmentally responsible by respecting Albright’s facilities and resources
• Albright students are required to be academically compliant with all their course and visa requirements, including maintaining satisfactory course progress and attendance
• Bullying, harassment, vulgar language, verbal and physical abuse, disrespectful and inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated

General English Holiday Breaks
A holiday MUSTbe included in your Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE).
Study breaks must start on a Monday or the first day of the week if Monday is a public holiday and end on a Friday.
Students must inform the student administration officers of their intention to take holidays no later than Wednesday of the week prior to start of their study break by filling the “STD-FORM07 GE Study Break Request Form”

ELICOS Course Outline
- Students attend the Orientation and complete the Placement Test- Placement Tests are marked by the ELICOS Coordinator- Students receive a notification confirming their level of enrolment, timetable, classroom number, and Teacher’s name
- Students come in as per their timetable* - Students are to attend minimum 80% of their classes - Students are to follow their Teacher’s instructions, engage in classroom activities and complete their assessments by themselves. Plagiarism will be penalised.

Albright Institute monitors and REPORTS your Course Progress!
This means:
• You must pass a minimum of 51% of the units in each study period.
• You must satisfy Albright Institute’s attendance requirements to beeligible to receive assessments.
• If you fail to pass a minimum of 51%, you will receive the First CourseProgress Warning letter and an intervention process will start to help youget on top of your studies.
Course Progress for VET Students
• If you fail to pass a minimum of 51% of the units in two consecutive studyperiods, Albright Institute will report you based on lack of course progress.This may affect your visa.
• You will have access to all the support you need, including resources andtrainers to help you progress.

Attendance for VET Students
Albright Institute monitors your Attendance!
• All international students have to attend a minimum of 80% of their scheduled classes!
• Your classes are 16 hours (2 days) of face to face sessions and 4 hours of self-directed learning, 20 hours in total.

Units and Assessments
Each course has a set of units that you need tocomplete. The number of the units varies based onthe course.
Each unit has a separate assessment. Eachassessment consists of 1 or more tasks, projects,written questions, etc.
To successfully pass a unit, you must complete ALLTHE ASSESSMENT TASKS with a COMPETENTresult.
To successfully complete the course and receiveyour certificate, you MUST COMPLETE ALL OFTHEUNITSwith COMPETENT results.
