The American Red Cross is where people

mobilize to help their neighbors—down the

street, across the country and around

the world—in emergencies.

As one of the most trusted humanitarian

agencies in America, the American Red Cross

empowers people in this country to perform

extraordinary acts in the face of emergencies

and disasters. To ensure full benefit of this

experience by all, we deliver our products

and services in a culturally sensitive and

appropriate manner to all we serve. We fully

embrace and promote inclusion across our

people, products and services, and we

integrate diversity into our business strategies

and decisions.

A Message from the American Red Cross President and CEO

Embracing diversity is critical to effectively

serving people in times of need. By actively

incorporating a wide range of people,

programs and services, we can reach deeper

into the communities we serve, discover

where gaps of service exist and work to help

close those gaps. Acknowledging the inherent

value in our varied cultural backgrounds and

experiences strengthens our great

organization and improves our ability to

deliver on our mission and secure the trust

of the American people.
