NOTES:

Trap: The event is shot on a field consisting of a house and 5 runners(spaced 12 degrees apart) that extend from 16 yards to 27 yardsbehind the house. Targets are thrown out of the house in a randomarc, but always at the same height. A total of 25 targets are shot ineach round. There are typically 5 contestants at one time, one on eachrunner. Beginning with the contestant on the far left runner, eachcontestant, in turn, calls for a target and fires one shot at each target.After each shooter has fired 5 shots the contestants move oneposition to the right and the contestant on the far right station movesaround to the far left station. Equipment is limited to shotguns nolarger than 12 gauge, firing shells containing a maximum of 1-1/8 oz.of shot and 3 dram equivalents of powder.

YOU MAY BRING YOUR OWN GUN OR YOU COULD BORROW ONE FROM THE CLUBHOUSE.

GUNS AT THE CLUBHOUSE ARE LIMITED AND YOU MAY HAVE A WAIT.

EYE PROTECTION AND EAR PROTECTION ARE REQUIRED!

EARPLUGS ARE AVAILABLE AT THE CLUBHOUSE FOR A SMALL CHARGE.

EYE PROTECTION MAY BE BORROWED AT THE CLUBHOUSE.

A PRIZE WILL BE AWARDED FOR THE TOP TEAM.

PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED AT THE JANUARY HUDDLE.
