Dear Church Family, As I write this article, Vacation Bible School is just around the corner. That is always an exciting time of the year. It is a fun time for the children and a great outreach, evangelistic opportunity, as we get to share the good news about Jesus. After the week of VBS, we will have our “Family and Friends” day on Sunday morning, June 28 th , during the morning service time. Why have a “big day” like that? 1. To reach new people. We want to cooperate with God to reach as many people as we can, while we can. We have the responsibility to reach people for Christ, point them to a new life, and then help them to mature (make disciples). It is about reaching the community, but that will not happen without an intentional effort on our part. 2. To get us, as members, to look beyond ourselves. An inward focus will cause a church to die. Remember, it’s not all about “us”. It gives us an opportunity to serve others, with an attitude of love. We grow in the process. 3. It makes the devil mad. I know this should not be the primary reason, but isn’t it fun to do that sometimes? Unfortunately, the devil may not be the only one who does not like it, but we must not allow some to pull us away from what God would have us to do. Please be praying for the children who will attend, their parents and families, and all our workers. Pray for the Holy Spirit to move in the lives of children and adults. Remember our mission as a church is to make disciples. We want to create environments where people can connect, grow, and serve in order to help them become fully devoted followers of Christ. We want to help people connect to Jesus and other people, grow spiritually and serve others in order that they might become fully devoted followers. We will soon be celebrating our freedom on the July 4 th weekend. We want to always be celebrating our freedom in Christ. How great is our God! In His love, Bro. Darrol Bro. Darrol Bro. Darrol Bro. • Dear Church Family,

As I write this article, Vacation Bible School is just around the corner. That is

always an exciting time of the year. It is a fun time for the children and a great

outreach, evangelistic opportunity, as we get to share the good news about Jesus.

After the week of VBS, we will have our Family and Friends day on Sunday

morning, June 28th, during the morning service time.

Why have a big day like that?

    1. To reach new people. We want to cooperate with God to reach as many

people as we can, while we can. We have the responsibility to reach people

for Christ, point them to a new life, and then help them to mature (make

disciples). It is about reaching the community, but that will not happen

without an intentional effort on our part.

    2. To get us, as members, to look beyond ourselves. An inward focus will cause

a church to die. Remember, its not all about us. It gives us an opportunity

to serve others, with an attitude of love. We grow in the process.

    3. It makes the devil mad. I know this should not be the primary reason, but isnt

it fun to do that sometimes? Unfortunately, the devil may not be the only one

who does not like it, but we must not allow some to pull us away from what

God would have us to do.

Please be praying for the children who will attend, their parents and families, and

all our workers. Pray for the Holy Spirit to move in the lives of children and

    adults.

Remember our mission as a church is to make disciples. We want to create

environments where people can connect, grow, and serve in order to help them

become fully devoted followers of Christ. We want to help people connect to

Jesus and other people, grow spiritually and serve others in order that they might

    become fully devoted followers.

We will soon be celebrating our freedom on the July 4th weekend. We want to

always be celebrating our freedom in Christ. How great is our God!

    In His love,

    Bro. DarrolBro. DarrolBro. DarrolBro. Darrol

Students, this is going to be a week we will remember

advantage to get to know God better than you do now.

Our week will be filled with lots of extreme

recreation : paintball, high ropes, low ropes, rock climbing

wall, lakeside activities, super sized slip-n-slide and much

and represent Jesus well on your campus and to your

    friends.
