Week of April 27 th Reading Writing Phonics Math April is National Poetry month. Use the attached poems to practice reading fluently. Choose the poem that fits your reading level the best. Use the attached fluency cards to practice reading in some fun ways. Do this 5 times then read the poem fluently to a parent. If you choose, record yourself reading and send it to your teacher! A sport or activity you like to do. See the attached example. Email a picture of your poem and keep it for next week’s Zoom meetings! Practice reading and writing words containing the chunk UE/EW using the attached list. Some ways to practice include: Finger paint Stamp the words in playdough. Form pipe cleaners to spell the words. Create a BINGO game. Q-tip paint the words. We will continue with Chapter 11 over 3D shapes this week. Use the attached GO Math workbook pages to build new shapes, take apart shapes, and review with 3D shapes. Complete 20-30 minutes of RAZ-Kids or IXL each day.
