On behalf of DIO, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to Busan which is well known for the beautiful ocean and culture city. A particular feature of DIM is to cover a diverse range and maximize the convenience of doctor and patient through the digital dental solution at clinic, techniques related to DIOnavi, computer guided surgery system, and new technologies such as 3D printer and milling machine for chairside solution, and UV activator.

Through DIM, we have witnessed a number of achievements and technical developments by DIO and clinical advisors, leading to innovation that shaped the digital dentistry we see today.

Gamcheon Culture Villiage is formed by houses built in staircase-fashion on the foothills of a coastal mountain, earning this village the nickname of “Machu Picchu of Busan.” The many alleys cutting through this community are vibrantly decorated with murals and sculptures created by the residents.

UN Memorial Cemetery

The UN Memorial Cemetery in Korea honors UN soldiers from 16 countries and UN aids from five countries that were killed in battle during the Korean War from 1950-1953. This serene park spreads across a grassy plain area of 135,000 square meters.

Beomeosa Temple

Beomeosa Temple is located at the eastern edge of Geumjeongsan Mountain, a famous mountain in Busan. It was constructed by monk Ui Sang in the 678, the 18th year of King Munmu (r. 661-681) of the Silla Kingdom.

Taejongdae Resort Park

Designated as a Busan monument, along with Oryukdo Island, Taejongdae represents Busan, and is especially famous for its rock beach. Taejongdae was named after the 29th king of the Silla Kingdom (57 BC-AD 935), King Taejong Mu-Yeol (604-661).

Songdo Beach Cable Car

Songdo Beach is a popular escape for the area’s city dwellers. Songdo Beach is particularly beloved for its romantic night view and cable cars which run for 1.62 kilometers from Songim Park on the east side of the beach to Amnam Park on the west side.

Oryukdo Island

Oryukdo Island is off the southern coast of Busan, and depending on the day and the tide, may appear to be five islands or six islands, hence its name (‘o’ meaning five and ‘ryuk’ meaning six in Korean). Designated a monument of Busan, Oryukdo Island is a rock island that can be said to be made purely of stones. All of the five islands, except the one with the lighthouse, are uninhabited.

In addition to the beachfront, the Gwangalli area is filled with romantic restaurants and cafes, as well as stores selling famous fashion brands. The area has plenty to offer, but many people come in the evening to take in the bright lights of Gwangan Bridge, stretching across the horizon.

Haeundae BeachHaeundae Beach is the most famous beach in Busan, Korea. It is also famous for various cultural events and festivals held throughout the year.
