Digital Simple is the county’s first b2b digital event and we will be delighted to welcome you there. The Norfolk Chamber of Commerce has organised the event so that you, as a business, can find out everything you need to know about the fast-moving and complex hi-tech digital and IT industry – a vital growth area in Norfolk.

The event covers a huge range of technology and systems, such as email and internet, mobile phones, cloud computing, security, the latest software and hardware...and much more.

We’ve lined up some top speakers to give you a fascinating insight into the available technology. This will help you make informed decisions about how to invest as cost effectively as possible, so you can reach new customers and increase your business.

We look forward to seeing you there.

Caroline Williams

CEO Norfolk Chamber of Commerce

Over the last two decades the march of IT and communications technology has been astonishing. It has allowed businesses to vastly increase their productivity and enabled them to respond to customer needs in a fashion that simply wasn’t previously possible.

The success of Tesco’s Clubcard is testament to the power of today’s information society and the ability of a business to mould itself around the customer. SMEs, too, are becoming more and more sophisticated in their use of IT and the opportunities, when correctly exercised, are exceptional. In times of austerity the ability to use technology to cut costs and increase productivity is vital.

With the advent of super fast broadband and cloud computing, the future appears to offer much of the same. However, as a note of caution, it is important that if businesses are to fully utilise these technologies, the industry must be prepared to demonstrate the complete benefits so that UK business can garner a real competitive advantage within the global economy.

OneStream is a single supplier for all your Communications and IT needs, a Vodafone Premier Partner and Microsoft Partner.

We are delighted to be one of the main sponsors of the Digital Simple exhibition, as it encapsulates exactly what we are about; using technology to improve our customers’ operating efficiency, which in turn saves them money.

Most Companies acknowledge that there is probably technology available to improve their business that they are not using, but they are normally too busy servicing their own customers to take the time to research and implement such changes. This is where we come in, by keeping abreast of developments and advising clients of ways they can utilise and implement changes to their operation.

We now live in a converged world, which means it is possible to have a single supplier for Mobile, Fixed Line, Data and IT support. This in turn offers intriguing possibilities for any business with staff operating remotely from the office, either all or some of the time. Seamless call transfer from office to mobile and vice versa offers flexible working patterns for all staff without loss of Management control and means we are on the verge of

a revolution in the way we work. As office space becomes more expensive, we can now offer all the facilities of a modern office, wherever one wishes to work.

At Digital Simple we will be launching in Norfolk the new Vodafone One Net solution, giving the first truly converged solution on a single bill. For any early adopters we have the bonus of a reduced cost set up and free Comms/IT audit, so why not come and talk to us on our stand to learn more?

It’s here, it’s NOW, it’s hi-tech

We are delighted that Cisco’s hi-tech NOW van is making a stop at Digital Simple. The 25-ft NOW (Network On Wheels) vehicle is packed with all the latest Cisco networking technologies and has been created specifically to appeal to small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs). It features hands-on, customised demonstrations highlighting Security, Mobility, IP Communications and Network Foundation Solutions.

In the NOW van, visitors will be able to experience first-hand how Cisco Solutions and services address their specific needs. These demos are designed for maximum impact and show how Cisco uses its experience and the latest technology to solve SME challenges.

Peter Davies, Chairman of Breakwater IT, said: “We at Breakwater are absolutely delighted that Cisco is supporting Digital Simple by bringing down the NOW van, which is brimming with all their latest technology. Cisco is one of our key partners for the future and it’s great that they are able to showcase their products here in Norwich.”

To pre-book a place in the NOW van, email at [email protected]. You can also register at the Breakwater stand at the conference. Demonstrations will be between 9am and 12.30pm.
