CONTROLS AND INDICATORS 1. Power on Lamp: Indicates that AC power is on. 2. Output Meter: Analog meter monitors the DC Output Current. 3. Minimum Output Control: Sets the minimum output current of the Digi-Fire when the control signal is at minimum. NOTE: This Control has been Factory set. 4. Signal Calibrate Control: Calibrates the DC current output to the 0-10 VDC control signal. NOTE: This Control has been Factory set. 5. IOL Trip Lamp: This Lighted Pushbutton indicates that the Digi-Fire Output is disabled due to an Instantaneous Overload. Reset the Control by depressing the Button. NOTE: The IOL Trip is Factory Calibrated at 150% of Unit rating. OPERATION 1. Turn on the AC power. 2. Control Signal Calibration: a. Monitor the DIGI-FIRE 1/DC Output Current b. Select the #1 Setpoint Input to ON from the external control system. Adjust the P1 Control, on the Select Board, for the desired Output Current. c. Select the #2 Setpoint Input to ON from the external control system. Adjust the P2 Control, on the Select Board, for the desired Output Current.

OPERATION d. Select the #3 Setpoint Input to ON from the external control system. Adjust the P3 Control, on the Select Board, for the desired Output Current. e. When Select Board Jumper J1 is across both Pins, the DIGI-FIRE 1/DC will go to Full Output when no Select inputs are On. CAUTION: This could cause an OverCurrent condition to the Motor Field. f. When Select Board Jumper J1 is across one Pin, the DIGI-FIRE 1/DC will go to Zero Output when no Select inputs are On. NOTE: This is the Factory Default Setting TROUBLE SHOOTING 1. Full Output with no Signal Input almost always is an indication of a bad Power

Module or Modules. These devices fail in a shorted condition. Turn off the Power and connect an Ohmeter (Range 2K Ohms) across L1 and then L2 to the Positive Terminal. If the Meter reads zero Ohms, one or both Modules are defective and must be replaced. If zero Ohms is read between the Positive and Negative Terminals then the Diode Module is defective.

2. Erratic output at any point in the control range usually indicates a failure in the Control Circuit Board. Field repair of this Board is not recommended. The defective Board should be replaced and returned to the Factory for repair.
