Did you know ?
Spring is one of the four seasons, the others being Summer, Autumn and
Winter.
In Maltese we call it “” ir-Rebbiegħa”.
It starts on the 21st March and ends on the 20th of June.
During Spring the days get longer and warmer.
Many animals give birth in Spring such as ducks, cows and birds.
Other animals who hibernate during Winter, like bears and bats start to wake
up and become active.
April is known for rain showers.
In May, flowers will start to bloom.
Some important days in Spring are Easter, April
Fool’s day(1st April) , Earth Day (22nd April),
Worker’s Day (1st May) , Mother’s Day (10th May)
and Sette Giugnio (7th June).
