SUMMARY AND RECOMMENDATIONS
Two diamond drill holes totalling S08m were completed on Falconbridge Limited
property in Benoit and Frecheville Twps., Larder Lake Mining Division between June 18th-
July 24th, 2004. Both drill holes targeted coincident AEM-HLEM anomalies defined from the
Discover Abitibi Kidd-Munro - Blake River MegaTEM survey released in late 2003. DOH
FR61-01 (242m) intersected a thick sequence of intermediate to mafic volcanic rocks but
failed to intersect any conductor in the hole. A review of the geophysical data suggested that
the conductor may have been due to an overburden effect. DOH BEN43-01 (266m) also
cored a sequence of mafic to intermediate volcanic rocks and intrusives punctuated by a thin
graphitic argillite horizon between 113.2-118.0m to explain the targeted conductor. No
further work is recommended on either of the two targets.

INTRODUCTION, LOCATION & ACCESS
Two diamond drill holes totalling SOBm were completed on Falconbridge Limited
property in Benoit and Frecheville Twps., Larder Lake Mining Division between June 1Bth_
July 24th, 2004. Both drill holes targeted coincident AEM-HLEM anomalies defined from the
Discover Abitibi Kidd-Munro - Blake River MegaTEM survey released in late 2003.
The property consists of two isolated blocks referred to herein as the BEN-43 and
FR-61 properties. The FR-61 block is located in northwest Frecheville Twp., Larder Lake
Mining Division, approximately S4km east-northeast of the town of Matheson (Fig. 1). The
property is accessed from Hwy 101 along a logging road which turns north of the highway
approximately 64km east of Matheson. The road extends northward for Bkm before turning
westward for 9km and transecting the southern portion of the grid. The road is navigable by
truck to within approximately Skm of the grid after which A TV / snowmobile transport is
required. The property consists of a single 16 unit claim registered to Falconbridge Limited
recorded on January 9th, 2004 (Table 1). The BEN-43 property is located in central Benoit
Twp., Larder Lake Mining Division, approximately 30km southeast of the town of Matheson
(Fig. 1). The property is accessed from a regional road which turns eastward off of Hwy 11 N
approximately 2Bkm south of Matheson. The road crosses the Ontario Northland Railway
immediately north of the grid area. ATV and/or snowmobile transportation is required to
access the grid itself. The Benoit property consists of a single sixteen unit claim registered to
Falconbridge Limited (formerly Noranda Inc.) (Table 1) which was recorded on January 9th,
2004.
Diamond drilling was completed by Bradley Brothers of Timmins, ON, assay analyses
were completed by Swastika Laboratories of Swastika, ON with whole rock geochemistry
completed by Assayers Canada of Vancouver, BC. Interpretation Core-logging,
interpretation and reporting were performed by Falconbridge staff.

GENERAL GEOLOGY
The FR-61 property is interpreted to be underlain predominantly by mafic to ultramafic volcanic rocks of the Stoughten-Rocquemaure Assemblage as interpreted by Ayer et aI, 2002. The geology is largely extrapolated from regional aeromagnetic data as very little direct evidence exists as to the actual geology of the area due to a lack of outcrop and historic exploration work. Several thin felsic units have been mapped to the northeast of the grid however none are interpreted to extend onto the property.
The BEN-43 property occurs near the contact between the Blake River and Kinojevis Assemblages of the Abitibi Greenstone Belt as interpreted by Ayer et aI, 2002. The property is underlain by mafic to intermediate volcanic rocks with minor associated intrusives. Little direct evidence exists as to the geology of the immediate grid area due to a lack of historic exploration and existing maps are largely extrapolated from regional magnetic data. The only drilling in the area was completed by Noranda in 1972 however both of the holes completed were lost in overburden without reaching bedrock.
PREVIOUS WORK
No historic exploration work is known to have been completed in the immediate area of the FR-61 grid. The closest work to the grid area was by Noranda Inc. in 1987 who completed geological mapping and ground geophysics (EM & Mag) over several thin felsic volcanic units approximately 2km southeast of the property. A single 221 m drillhole was completed east of the FR-61 grid however no significant assays were reported. Additional work has also been performed by several companies along strike to the east including geological mapping, geochemical sampling and ground geophysics by Patino Mining, St. Joes Mining as well as by G.N. Henriksen. Patino Mining also completed a single 9Sm drillhole in 1971 approximately 4km east of the grid.
Similarly, a very limited amount of historic work has been completed in the vicinity of the Benoit 43 grid. The most significant exploration was carried out by Noranda in 1972 who completed HLEM and magnetic ground surveys and diamond drilling of two holes totalling 146m. Neither of the two holes reached bedrock however with both being lost in overburden. A summary of work available from the ERMES assessment database is provided in the table below.

BEN·43 Property - Historic Assessment Work
CURRENT WORK PROGRAM
HLEM and magnetic surveys on the FA-61 and BEN-43 grids were completed in mid-2003, both of which defined weak to moderate strength conductors on the properties roughly coincident with the Mega TEM anomalies identified from the airbome survey. Diamond drilling to test the target was contracted to Bradley Brothers of Timmins, ON andwas initiated in mid-June, 2004.
DOH FA61-01 was collared on L3+00E at 0+755 on the FA-61 grid and drilled grid north (345°) at a dip of -50°. The hole encountered 37m of overburden before casing in bedrock. The entirety of the 242m hole cored massive, amphibole-phyric intermediate volcanic rocks. A thin felsic intrusive dyke was also encountered between 64.3-65.8m. The volcanics carried only trace to 0.5% disseminated pyrite-pyrrhotite mineralization and no explanation for the targeted conductor was intersected by the hole.
Drill-hole BEN43-01 was collared on L5+00E at 0+505 on the BEN-43 and drilled grid north (015°) at a dip of -50°. Thirty-four metres of overburden was encountered before entering bedrock consisting of amygdaloidal, pillowed mafic volcanic rocks. The conductor was intersected between 113.2-118.0m, being sourced by a weakly sulphidic graphitic argillite horizon carrying 5-6% pyrite mineralization. Intermediate volcanics were cored between to 235.3m followed by mafic intrusive rocks from 235.3m to the end-of-hole at 266m. Trace chalcopyrite mineralization was encountered within the intermediate volcanics however the sulphides appeared represent late-stage, fracture controlled mineralization.
RECOMMENDATIONS
A review of the geophysical data from the FA-61 was completed in light of the completed diamond drill hole and subsequent borehole EM surveys. It was concluded that the source of the EM response identified by the airbome and ground surveys was likely a result of overburden and bedrock topography in the area and therefore further work on the target is not warranted. On the BEN-43 grid, the argillite intersected between 113-118m adequately explained the targeted conductor. Given the nature of the geology intersected by the hole and the lack of significant basemetal mineralization, further work on the target is not recommended.

The unit contains numerous hyaloclastite zones (1-3m) that are separated by a thin zone (1Q.3Ocm) of coalesced varioles giving the appearence that n is felsic rock. Individual round varioles of 1 mm size are visible at the contact with the hyaloclastne and these variole become much more abundant towards the core of these zones to a point where the are coalesced and the rock is felsic. This succession of hyaloclastite and variolnic zones is repeted several times all the way to the bottom of the unn. This unit also contains more massive zones that have numerous quartz amygdules.
The rock is hard and is likely silicified and is also locally moderatiy calcite aftered.
