ON THE ROAD

K.CT : hola ! Buenas noches!

MAR: hola ! Buenas noches!

K.CT: como estas?

MAR : Bien, y tu ?

K.CT: muy bien tambien.

MAR: A donde vas?

(Where are you going?)

K.CT: A ver a el restaurante para cenar.

(I'm going to the restaurant to have dinner.)

MAR: Te puedo acompaar?

(May I accompany you?)

K.CT: Por supuesto que puedes.

(Sure you can.)

IN THE RESTAURANT

ANIS: hola! Bienvenida! Buenas noches! cuntos son?

(helo! good afternoon! How many of you?)

K.CT: una mesa para cuatro, por favor.

(a table for four, please)

ANIS : siganme, por favor.

( follow me, please)

MAR : Parace un buen restaurant.

(This looks like a nice restaurant.)

K.CT: si lo es . Siempre vengo aqui.

(yeah. It is. I come here all the time)

MAR : vamos a sentarnos alli

(lets sit over there)

K.CT: vamos

(ok)

MAR : Dnde estn nuestros amigos dilah y hermana ct?

(Where are our friends dilah and ct?)

K.CT:estn en la terminal de buses.

(they are at the bus station.)

At the bus station

DILAH : El bus es viejo y pequeo.

(The bus is old and small.)

K CT: Y, tambin es lento. Tomemos un taxi para llegar luego.

(And, also slow. Let's take a taxi to arrive faster.)

DILAH: S, porque llegaremos tarde y cansados.

(Yes, otherwise we will arrive late and tired.)

AT THE RESTAURANT

DLAH, K.CT : hola!

MAR & k.CT: hola!!!!..sentado aqu.

( hello....come and sit here.!!!!)

MAR : Qu van a tomar?

(What are you going to have? )

DLAH : me puedes el menu?

(can you pass me a menu please?)

MAR : claro. Que vas a tomar?

(What are you going to have to drink?

K.CT: voy a pedir una mosto. y tu?

( im going to have a glass of grape juice. And you?)

MAR : voy a pedir una t con limn.

( im going to have a glass of tea with lemon.)

DLAH : voy a pedir una copa zuma de naranja.y tu?

( im going to have a glass of orange juice. And you?)

MEL : voy a pedir una copa batida de fruta.quieres pedir un aperitivo primero?

( im going to have a glass of fruit shake. Do you want to order an appetizer first?)

DLAH : no,no mucho, tal vez podemos pedir solo pan.

(not really, maybe we can just order some bread)

K.CT : bien, que vas a comer hermana ct?

(ok! What are you going to eat hermana ct?)

MEL : no estoy seguro. todaria no he decidado. me puedes recomender algo?

(imnot sure. I havent decided yet. Can you recommend something?)

K.CT : claro! he pedido la carne y la langosta. las dos estan muy ricas.

(sure! Ive had the steak and the lobster before. Theyre both very good.

DLAH : creo que voy a pedir la langosta y el bocadillo sin queso . y tu que vas a pedir?

(i think ill have the lobsterand sandwich without cheese . What are you going to have?)

MEL : no tengo mucha hambre. creo que solo voy a pedir una ensalada.

(imnot hungry. I think im just going to had a salad.)

MAR: Voy a ir bano. Cuando vuelve el inodoro,podrias ordener para mi?

(im gonna go to the toilet. When the waitress comes back, will you order for me)

K.CT : claro, no hay problema.

(sure, no problem)

WAITRESS : bienvenida a el Pepin Restaurante Espaol!!! qu desea comer??

(Welcome to Pepin Espanol Restaurant!!! Whats you would like to eat??)

K.CT: quiero comer tres plato las langostas y un el bocadillo sin queso, una

ensalada y un plato la carne.

(i would like to order three plate of lobsters, a plate of sandwich without cheese, a plate of salad

and and a plate of steak.)

WAITRESS: desea algo mas??

(Anything else???)

K .CT: voy a pedir una copa zuma de naranja, una copa batida de fruta, una t con limn, una mosto.

(Im going to have a glass of orange juice, a glass of fruit shake, a glass of lemon tea, a glass of

grape juice. Thats it. Thank you)

WAITRESS: bueno, todo estar listro dentro de 30 minutos.

(Alraight, your meal will be serving in 30 minutes more.)

K.CT : si, gracias.

(Alright, thank you.)

DILAH: la comida aqu es buensima.

( the food is really good here.)

K.CT : y tambi n preparan comida vegetariana. pero t eres vegetariana ahora?

(and they also vegetarian food. Are you vegetarian now ct?)

MEL: no, no,no. yo como carne, pescado, de todo!y tu dlah?

(oh no, im not. I eat meat, fish, everything! And you dlah?)

MEL: Piensas viajar, linda?

(Are you planning to travel?)

DILAH: Pienso viajar a Venezuela.

(I'm planning to travel to Venezuela.)

Mar: Tienes el boleto de viaje?

(Do you have the plane ticket?)

Dilah : No, la agencia de viajes tiene el boleto.

(No, the travel agency has it.)

MAR : vale..emm..Dnde est catrina?

(Where is fifah?)

K.CT: lla condujo la exploracin en la caverna.

(She lead the cave exploration.)

MEL : Quines vinieron con lla?

(Who did go with her?)

K.CT: lla trajo a sus amigos de la universidad.

(she brought her friends from the university.)

WAITRESS: aqui est su comida, seorita. Qu la disfrutes!

(Here is your meals, miss.Enjoy it!)

ALL: muchas gracias.Est deliciosa!

( thank you very much.it is so delicious!!)

K.MEL: Porque tengo un viaje divertido.

(Because I have a fun trip)

K.CT: Quines irn contigo?

(Who is going?)

K.MEL: Mi hermano grande.

(My oldest brother)

DILAH:Y mi hermana pequea.

(And, my little sister)

MAR:A dnde irn?

(Where are you going?)

K.MEL: A un ro enorme.

(To a big river)

DILAH: Yo estoy preocupado.

(I am worried)

MAR: Por qu?

(Why?)

K.CT: Porque no sabes nadar.

(Because you cannot swim.)
