FUEL INJECTION SYSTEMS
ADVANTAGES OF THE NEW ‘ERAGON’ SYSTEM TO TEST COMMON RAIL
INJECTORS AND PUMPS COMPARED TO THE PREVIOUS SYSTEM WITH SIMULATORS
CRI/CPT. ‘ERAGON’ characteristics:
1. Test Pressure Capabilities over 1800 bar up to 2650 bar, as
required by the newest injectors generation.
2. More accurate control on target pressure and speed, thanks to
the new automatic ‘PDI’ control. 3. Increased oil volume in the
Rail, with possibility to test heavy duty injectors, as L’Orange,
MTU,
Scania, Cummins, Caterpillar/Perkins, etc. 4. New Clamping
system for injector testing, with wide fitting and position
capabilities with counter
pressure on injector base, similar to the fitting on the engine.
5. Smart-driver system allowing the testing of every single
injector type with their specific original
profile. Available also for new injectors expected to appear on
the market in the near future. 6. Testing capabilities of the
latest CRIN 4.2 double coil Bosch injectors and XPI Cummins. 7. New
easy readable computer screen graphics, Multilanguage. PDF
printable reports. 8. Operating with our ‘Totem’ metering device it
allows a completely automatic test procedure,
including the final test report. No operator assistance is
required. Remote operation is also possible.
9. Possibility to check the exact nozzle closure point before
the main injection on multijet injection systems.
10. Codification capability for injectors such as Delphi C2I -
C3I – C4I, Denso 30 and Bosch IMA, Bosch Piezo and Siemens VDO.
11. Time response available for all injector types. 12. Variable
impulse frequency allowing individual injector testing, to avoid
overheating. 13. Possibility to test phased pumps like Bosch CP2,
Denso HP0 and Caterpillar/Perkins.
