In English we must use subject pronouns in almost all sentences. In Spanish the verb is often sufficient. They probably dont know what a subject pronoun is, so I like to remind them from time-to-time. Remember: subject pronouns are not always needed in Spanish. After finishing 4 minutos, have them work in pairs and write down 6 sentences using the columns above. They should write these sentences on the back of the 4 minutos. All interrogative words are preceded by an inverted question mark. The question is closed with a regular question mark.?All interrogative words have a written accent.Quin? and cul? change to reflect number.Cunto? changes to reflect both number and gender.Go over these and have them do packet p. 10, activity 15 in class and push to homework if it doesnt get completed. You can form simple yes/no questions by adding a tag question (such as verdad? and no?) to a statement.
Note that only verdad? can be added to negative statements:
