Device Alive is the demo application that should be running on all Android demo phones and tablets in AT&T Retail stores.

The purpose of Device Alive (DA) is to communicate…• Special device offers and incentives (fig 2)• Special offers on AT&T products (Unlimited Plans, HBO Max, AT&T TV, 5G, Internet, etc…) • Benefits of AT&T products (fig 1)• Device pricing via Digital Price Card (fig 3)• Details on the specific device specs and benefits (fig 4)

Any devices not running DA need to be Factory Reset so that the app can be installed per instructions.

DA loading is tracked to the store level and compliance reports are shared with Region and Market management. Stores must use their own CPID when loading DA to track loading compliance to the store. See page #8 to check/correct CPIDs on individual devices.

Please refer to FACTORY RESET steps on page #5 & #6 and DA Install steps on page #3 & #4 of this document to complete all Device Alive installs & correct devices not running DA.

• If the DA Attract Loop is not running, launch the Device Alive app manually to speed up that communication.

• Device Alive app reboots a few times behind the scenes to set the device.

• If you still see the SRM Registration screen, then set Country: “USA”, Channel: “AT&T”, and the following password to begin download:

• For devices launched on/after 8/13/2021 = “ent3rtain”

• Devices launched prior to 8/13/2021 = “rethink”
