Swachha Madhya Pradesh • Cluster based integrated Solid Waste Management (SWM) projects in

all cities, towns and villages as well

• Waste to Wealth projects being implemented

• State’s Urban Areas declared Open Defecation Free

• Sewage and Waste Water Treatment Projects initiated in urban areas catering to 60% of the population

• All towns along Narmada being covered for complete waste water treatment and reuse

Goal: Comprehensive and complete system of solid and liquid waste management in the entire state by 2022.

Waste to Energy Unit, Jabalpur

Connectivity • All National Highways taken up under upgradation

• Entire State Highway network rebuilt

• Massive investment in development of MDRs and Village roads

• Indore - Bhopal Expressway

• Chambal Expressway

• Infrastructure ready for international airports at Indore and Bhopal

Goal: Build new expressways going beyond the existing road network, develop new inland waterways and fully operationalize international airports at Indore and Bhopal.

Remunerative Agriculture • Bhawantar Bhugtan Yojana (Price Deficit Financing Scheme) to

support farmers for getting remunerative price for agriculture produce

• State aims to ensure a minimum 50% profit to farmers over cost of production

• Massive investment in warehousing, cold chain, logistic parks, and steel silos - both Public and on Public Private Partnerships (PPP)

• Impetus to mechanization, crop diversification, and protected agriculture

Goal: Double farmers income & maximise value addition

Housing • Complete survey of housing requirement both for urban and rural poor -

12.67 Lakh houses already under construction (U&R)

• Target to complete 5 lakh houses for urban poor and 10 lakh houses for rural poor by the end of 2018

• Leveraging of resources through cross subsidization and PPP

• Support from banks and housing finance companies under tri-partite arrangement

• New building technologies and materials are being promoted for rapid construction

• Statute enacted to guarantee housing for all citizens of the state

Goal: Slum free cities with adequate housing in anticipation of migration from rural areas and 100% coverage for rural housing

Smart Cities • Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Sagar and Satna being developed

with an investment of Rs. 20,700 cr

• Pan city and area specific projects being implemented

• Smart Parking, Smart Street Lights, Smart Poles and other IOT initiatives introduced

• Rs. 1000 cr grant for each city being leveraged through Project Financing and PPP mode

• Integrated command and control centers are being set up

• Focus on employment generation, non-polluting industry and connected self-sustained communities

Goal: Development of smart regional centers of growth endowed with world class infrastructure

• State wide network of public transport being developed with high capacity buses under ‘hub and spoke’ model

• 20 city clusters for inter-city and intra-city transport on PPP

• e-buses and e-taxis being introduced in Indore

• Intelligent traffic management system being implemented

• Non-Motorized Transport (NMT) including e-Ricksaw, Public Bike Sharing and segregated NMT lanes

• Construction of Metro-Rail projects for Indore & Bhopal to be started this year

Goal: To operationalize an eco-friendly, multimodal state wide public transport system providing inter-city and intra-city connectivity. Complete first phase of 30 kms of metro network in both Indore and Bhopal

Renewable Energy

• Asia’s largest operational Solar Power Plant (135 MW) at Neemuch

• Rewa solar plant with 750 MW installed capacity will become world's largest single site facility

• MP leads with installed capacity of Solar (1200 MW), Wind (2500 MW), Biomass (92MW), Small Hydro (86.25MW), Waste to Energy (11 MW)

• State leads in roof top solar initiatives

• Task force being set up for clean cooking policy

• Upto 80% subsidy for irrigation solar pumps

Goal: To achieve installed capacity of Solar (5700 MW), Wind (6200MW), Biomass (118 MW), Small Hydro (125 MW), Waste to Energy (72 MW), thereby trebling the power generation by renewable sources

Skill Development & Employment • Global Skill & Employment Summit (June, 2017) organised to

attract and promote larger participation

• ‘Yuva Sashaktikaran Mission’ launched converging all the employment generation schemes

• MP Venture Fund established

• Incubation and Innovation centers are being set up in all smart cities

• ‘Global Skill Park’ is being developed in collaboration with ADB and International Enterprise, Singapore

• Skills certification programme in each block

Goal: To create 1 million jobs annually and create a world class ecosystem for startups and young entrepreneurs.

Education

• Develop cluster level schools with smart infrastructure

• Link students of neighboring areas with free transport to the cluster schools

• Focus on high quality education using modern methods & technology

• Symbiosis, Narsee Monjee, and VIT campuses established

• Invite and facilitate more nationally renowned institutions to setup facilities in state

• Facilitate partnership of State Universities with top International Universities

Goal: Graduate from ‘Universal Access’ to ‘Quality Education’

Irrigation • Emphasis on piped irrigation using SCADA system for increasing

water use efficiency

• All ongoing irrigation projects have 10-25% micro-irrigation component

• New irrigation projects with 100% micro/piped irrigation component

• Area under micro-irrigation from 1 lakh Ha (2016-17) to reach 25 lakh ha within 5 years

• First phase of Narmada- Kshipra link project completed

• Narmada-Kalisindh, Narmada- Parwati, Narmada-Gambir link projects initiated

Goal: Achieve objective of more crop per drop and increase the irrigation potential from 40 lakh hectares to 65 lakh hectares.

Goal: Promote new tourist destinations, attract hospitality giants to set up resorts and provide world class facilities at existing religious and other tourist sites.

• Safe piped water supply to each household in all the 378 towns

• Group water distribution schemes based on surface water source in rural areas

• Sustainable and affordable water supply to each household

• Large fund raising from multilateral and bilateral lending institutions

Goal: To provide access to safe, treated, piped drinking water supply to each household in the entire state preferably from a surface water source

• 11 Sports Academies with best-in-class facilities for 20 sports

• Nationally renowned coaches and other support staff hired to train state's youth

• Strong participation in Olympics, ASIAD, Common Wealth Games and other National and International Competitions

• Tournaments and events organised for rural and traditional sports

• Promising sportspersons being sent abroad for training

Goal: Mission Olympics and beyond.

To harness the skill and capability of state's youth to produce winners at National and International Tournaments

Sports

• 7 new government Medical Colleges

• IMR reduced from 67 to 51 in last five years

• MMR reduced from 310 to 227 in last five years, it is envisaged to reach 100.

• 100% Coverage and Efficiency of Dial 108 Ambulance Services

• Investment incentives for private players to invest in healthcare infrastructure and services

• Improving quality of hospital services through facility management

• Modern and specialized treatment facilities like Bone-Marrow Transplant, Kidney-Heart-Liver related treatments

Goal : Efficient and equitable public health care system for all maintaining global standards with specialized treatment facilities

Health

• CM Dashboard and MyMP portal

• Citizen Centric Services on mobile app

• CM Helpline Dial-181 Services

• Pre- approved building permission & automated building permission approval system

• E-Nagarpalika services in all ULBs

Goal: Shift from “E-governance” to “We-Governance” and elimination of human interface in availing government services.

Goal: Enable the poorest to get basic amenities like food, shelter, health cover, education etc, thus enabling them with more disposable income to attain acceptable living standards

• 37,000 volunteers (Anandak) associated with Anandam activities

• Alpviram: started for government officials with the objective to develop positive thinking

• Anandam: “Joy of Giving” activities across all 51 districts to support the needy

• Aanand Utsav: Community level program being organized from 14 to 28 January 2018 at block level all across state

• Anand Shivir: Program for government officials on developing positive approach and having balanced life style

• Anand Research Fellow: To promote study and research on happiness

• Anand Sabha: For school and college students
