Details Make the DifferenceSubmitting Complete and Accurate Orders
When sending in orders, there are several opportunities for you to help us streamline the order entry process. When initially receiving orders from Dealers, the most common issues we encounter include the following:
•Missing information such as a modified cabinet thatdoesn’tclearlystatehowthecabinetshouldbemodified
•Missingappliancesizesandcutouts,missingsizesforwainscotpanels,solidwood,appearanceboards,etc
•Ordersrequesting technical reviewswithno layoutorelevation provided
•Notrequestingpre-quoteditemspriortosubmissionofan order
•Requesting a cabinet and/or modification that wouldrequireapprovalfromProductionmanagement
Any of these issues may contribute to holding up theprocessing of an order as we are not able to providea complete acknowledgment without the requiredinformation. However, our greatest challenge is when major changes are made to an order at order release.
These changes include:•Theredesignofthelayoutorindividualcabinetryitems.•Jobsitechangeswhichcausemajororderchanges.•TheadditionofquotesoritemsthathavetobeapprovedbyProduction.
Quite often these changes are made after a job hasalready been committed to a ship week. These typesofchangesmakeitquitedifficulttomaintaintheorders’assigned ship week or get all of the project details worked out prior to releasing the order to production. Lastminutechangesalso invariably leadtoerrorsandmiscommunication.

In mid-December, the Mouser Cabinetry MarketingDepartmentdistributed the2020PremierSeriesandCentraSeriespriceandspecificationcatalogstoeachofourauthorizeddealers.
Each shipping box has been identified with a neonsticker that specifies the box contents. The numberof catalogs in each shipment will correspond to the actualnumberofcatalogsMouserhasonfileforyourdealership. Mouser Introductions andPromotions Abound
Asiscustomary,theannualMousercatalogmailinghasbecomethe vehicle used to present new product introductions and the promotional opportunities surrounding those introductions. New Finishes for 2020
New Door Styles Added to Mouser Selections for 2020
Four new door styles have been added to the doorstyle selectionsofferedbyMouserandare featured inSection4of the2020priceandspecificationcatalogs.Eachofthefourdoorstyles;Regent,Ridgeland,Sanibel,andJupiter(shownaboveLtoR),fillsuniquenichesinseveral price groups.
Regent,agroup4MDF+Plus/paintedmapledoorstyleisavailableinOverlay,InsetandEuroStyleinbothPremierandCentraproductlines.TheRegentdoorissimilartothePortraitdoorstyle,butwithalesspronouncededgemouldingprofile.
Ridgeland, a group 3 door style is similar in overalldesigntotheSanibeldoorstyle,theprimarydifferenceistheincorporationofanewCoasterinterioredgeprofile
on the stiles and rails. Sanibel is a group 2 flat paneldoor with a new Chamfer interior edge profile on the2-3/4”stilesandrails.Jupiter,ournewgroup1doorstylecopies the samedesign of theSanibel door style, butreducesthestileandrailsizeto2-1/4”.
Ridgeland, Sanibel and Jupiter are also available inOverlay, Inset, and EuroStyle in both Premier andCentra product lines, and they are offered in multiplewoodspecieswitha rangeofavailablestainandsolidcolorfinishoptions.

Mouser Lighting Program Becomes More InclusiveDuring 2019, Mouser Cabinetry introduced a cabinetrylighting program into our product lineup. This initial lighting programofferingincludedjob-siteinstalledundercabinetlighting, cabinet top up-lighting, cabinet interior verticalflushlighting,andwallcabinetlightpanels.
The initial lighting program introduction was well receivedandbecameapopularproductofferingamongmanyMouserdesigners.Buildingonthesuccessforourinitial product introduction, we are pleased to announce the following additions to the lighting program:
Additional Color Temperatures (Puck Lights & FlexTape)Currently our Puck Lights come in the single Kelvinrating (temperature) of 5000K; our FlexTape is ratedat3500K. This is a great feature for
blindcornerandsquarecornerbases,anddeeputilitycabinets. Flush Vertical Lighting and Door ActivatedSwitches are sold separately and should be specifiedindividuallyforyourUtilityLightingpurposes.
Lighting for Floating ShelvesFloatingShelvesinmanykitchendesignshasprovidedan opportunity to incorporate flush lighting into theunderside of the shelves. It is important to note that becausethebottomoftheshelveshastobe3/4”thickto accommodate the lighting track, the height of the FloatingShelfwillincreaseby1/4”to2-3/4”high.
Drawer Activated LightingTheoperationofbaseandvanitycabinetdrawerscanbegreatly enhancedwith the incorporation of interiorlights.ThecompactsizeandlowoperatingtemperatureofLEDlightingmakesthemperfectforuseinconfinedspaces. The new Drawer Activated Lighting is comprised offullwidthLEDlightshiddenbehindtherailaboveadrawer,orthedrawerstretcherabovethedrawer.Thisdownward pointing light immediately activates upon the draweropening,therebyilluminatingitscontents.

Mouser Product Training Class Dates for 2020 ScheduledMouser Cabinetry’s 2019 Product Training Schoolswere very successful in terms of the number ofdealershipsrepresentedandthenumberofattendeeswho came to learnmore about theMouser productlines. Combined, the 2019 Mouser trainings wereattended by 107 designers and representativesspread across five classes from various authorizedMouserCabinetrydealerships.
For 2020, Mouser Cabinetry will host four producttrainingschoolsfordesignerstovisittheMouserplantand learnmore about our product offerings aswellastourourfacilitytoseefirst-handhowourcabinetsare manufactured. These training schools combinethe information on both the Centra and Premierproductlinesintoatwo-dayclass.PresentationsfromavarietyofMouserAssociates,aswellasextensiveplant tours, provide the opportunity for attendees to get more in-depth knowledge on Mouser productplatforms and product offerings.
