Treatment plants are manufactured as plastic, waterproof basins divided into chambers by separate mechanical and biological units within which phases of purification of wastewater are carried out. Inside the basin there are inlet screening, the aeration system comprised of air transmission, aerator and air pump. Surfaces of all metal parts are either protected or manufactured from stainless steel. The basin is manufactured from extruded polypropylene plates joint together by welding. The basin is of cylindrical shape, with reinforcement rings on the outside. The construction of the basin is made in such a way that it may withstand the pressure of the ground without additional construction or static measures. Hydraulic system is manufactured from polypropylene pipes and it is situated on the frame of the basin. This system facilitates automatic circulation of the water and the sludge. Air system is comprised of the blower, air transmission and aerator. The blower is situated above the plant itself, usually in a dry place within the building (garage, boiler room, cellar, etc.). The blower functions without the need for lubrication with lubricating oil, with low electricity consumption and minimal noise level. The blower is the only electric device within treatment facility.

BIOTIP® is a standard device for biological treatment of wastewater from small villages, hotels, resorts, barracks, camps, schools, food industry, etc. The degree of purification is more than 95% degradation of organic matter, and if it is required, can be performed the procedure of removing additional nitrogen and phosphorus. Operating the device is fully automated with minimal operation and maintenance costs. The device is performed as a buried circular pool covered sprung by a step grate, located in the direction of the sewer when there is no need of performing the pumping station. The device has no moving parts (blowers and electrical boxes are placed in a separate room) for which the shelf life is unlimited, and all materials are resistant to aggressive media

BIOTIP ® is a standard device for biological purification of waste water that is used for biological treatment of sanitary sewage wastewater of small settlements and individual buildings for up to 3000 equivalent inhabitants. The device makes BIOTIP ® aeration circular pool in which there is a secondary sedimentation tank overflow with cross, air "mammoth" pump, aerators and air distribution piping. The pool is covered with mesh sprung by a step which relies on the carrier profile. For a complete drive unit we are using compressed air witch are pumped through low pressure compressor and housed in a separate room where there is a cabinet of electrical controlling. Fresh wastewater enters the aeration pool by gravity or by pump from the pool pump. The wastewater is intensively blown compressed air through the membrane aerators that produce fine bubbles. Fresh wastewater is mixed with fine bubbles of air, and oxygen from the air that is dissolving in water. The secondary settler is mammoth pump witch occasionally switches and "active" sludge consisting follicles microorganisms (bacteria, algae, protozoa) in aeration pool. Microorganisms need food and oxygen for living. They are taking food from the wastewater (organic matter) and thus is treated, and obtaine oxygen from air that is blown into the water. A mixture of waste water, air bubbles and microorganisms exceeds the secondary sedimentation tank where the activated sludge is separated from the clarified water that flows into the overflow. Activated sludge is returns again to the aeration pool and thus the process is continually updated. Clarified and biologically treated water goes into the recipient. After some time, microorganisms partly dies and creates a biomass whose concentration in the effluent increases However, the process is so dimensioned that the biomass is further oxidized and mineralized (extended aeration) and the process leads us to the endogenous phase of respiration. This reduces the volume of excess sludge and excess sludge extraction needs to be extended for a longer time. In practice, the extraction of surplus sludge is conducted once every 6 months to 2 years. Output water has less than 25 mg (BOD5) / l which makes the degree of purification greater than 95% degradation of organic matter. This is achieved by dimensioning the load on the aeration basin volume of less than 0.2 kg (BOD5) / m3, d, water retention in secondary precipitator of more than 4 hours and the introduction of oxygen of at least 3.0 kg O2/kg (BOD5). Output water meets the requirements for discharge into the natural recipient of category II

BIOTIP kompakt is used for biological treatment of sanitary and septic wastewater for the load of 5 – 10.000 IE (Inhabitant Equivalent). The plant is manufactured in full from reinforced waterproof concrete. The entire device is powered by compressed air, supplied from low-pressure compressor. Treated effluent has less than 20 mg (BPK5)/l making the level of purification higher than 95% of organic matter decomposition.

BIOTIP tourist is used for biological treatment of sanitary and septic wastewater in tourist facilities for the load of 5 – 800 IE (Inhabitant Equivalent). The device is used for purification of wastewater in tourist facilities that are not active for more than 7 months in a year.

At the entrance of the bio aeration basin an air screen is fixed, stopping all non-degradable waste. It is also possible to install vertical or tilted screw screens at the entrance. Mechanically treated raw wastewater, return activated sludge from secondary sedimentation tank and biomass from bio aeration tank enter the basin for additional denitrification. Conditions in the basin are anoxic. Biomass in the basin assumes the necessary oxygen from the nitrate (NO4), which results in new compounds, i.e. nitrates turn into nitrites (NO3), and nitrites are further degraded into oxygen and nitrogen. Nitrogen is in the gaseous state, and it is released into the atmosphere and thus removed from the water. Compressed air is steadily being blown into the wastewater through membrane aerators creating fine bubbles. Fresh wastewater is mixed with fine air bubbles, and the oxygen from the air is dissolved into the water. From the secondary sedimentation tank the mamut pump periodically transfers «activated» sludge into the aeration basin, comprised of flocculated micro-organisms (bacteria, algae, protozoa). Microorganisms need food and oxygen for life. They use food from wastewater (organic matter), thus purifying it, and receive oxygen from the air that is being blown into the water. The mixture of wastewater, air bubbles and microorganisms is transferred into the secondary sedimentation tank, where activated sludge is separated from clarified water that is transferred as effluent. Activated sludge is returned into the basin for additional denitrification, and in this way the process is continuously recycled. Purged and biologically purified water is released through gravitational pipeline into the recipient.
