From the Administrator’s Desk Dear Friends, God places no limits on the divine willingness to forgive. To act as if we have the right to lim-it forgiveness when we ourselves must ask for it repeatedly constitutes gross hypocrisy and ingrati-tude. We ourselves are the ones who place limits on God’s forgiveness of us when we insist on placing limits on our forgiveness of others.

Only forgiving those who have wronged us can we be truly free. Take time to refresh the life of the Spirit that has been given you through baptism. Then witness your faith like disciples and believers throughout the ages. Be assured of my prayers for you and for your dear ones. May the good Lord bless you with wisdom, health and peace. Please pray for me. Please help me welcome Father Roberto Rueda and Fr. Alfonso Abarca. Thank you, fathers, for your “yes” and willingness to serve the faithful here at St. John Chrysostom Parish. Queridos Amigos, Dios no pone límites a la voluntad divina de perdonar. Actuando como si tuviéramos el dere-cho a limitar el perdón cuando nosotros mismos debemos pedirlo constituye repetidamente una grave hipocresía e ingratitud. Nosotros mismos somos los que ponemos límites al perdón de Dios de noso-tros cuando insistimos en poner límites a nuestro perdón de los demás.

Sólo perdonando a los que nos han hecho daño podemos ser verdaderamente libres. Tomen tiempo para meditar y refrescar la vida del Espíritu que se les ha dado en su bautismo. En-tonces den testimonio de su fe, así como lo han hecho los cristianos en cada siglo. Pueden estar segu-ros de que ustedes y sus seres queridos están presentes en mis oraciones. Que el Señor los fortalezca con sabiduría, salud y paz. Por favor, oren por mí. Por favor, acompáñenme en darles la bienvenida al Padre Roberto Rueda y al Padre Alfonso Abarca.
