A STRATEGIC LOCATION

As the Meatpacking District continues to race north along the High Line, Chelsea finalizes

its westward development, and Hudson Yards completes Midtown West’s final frontier, the Starrett-Lehigh building will occupy

the geographic center of a whole new universe.

West Chelsea real estate has experienced, and continues to experience, massive growth. Recent commercial

tenants such as IAC and in particular Google, which continues to expand its campus in the neighborhood, are transforming the area into the tech and media district.

In residential, there are 4,400 units across 12 new buildings being constructed, which will increase the attractiveness

of the area to retailers.

Further north sits Hudson Yards, the largest private real estate development in the history of the United States.

Hudson Yards will bring tens of thousands of residents, tourists, and employees to the neighborhood—with a host

of businesses, including L’Oréal, Time Warner and its subsidiaries CNN, HBO, and Turner Broadcasting, BlackRock, Boston Consulting Group, Wells Fargo Securities, and more.

14

A HUB ON THE HUDSON Starrett-Lehigh sits in close proximity to great shops,

galleries, restaurants, and residences as well as the parks, piers, and bike and running paths that thread the waterfront from Hudson Yards to the Financial District.

All of these venues will deliver traffic to The Depot, increasing its profile and desirability.

BRANDING OPPORTUNITYThe design of the larger market spaces celebrates the industrial heritage of the Starrett-Lehigh building—

while the stalls are also crafted for flexibility, allowing each vendor to maintain their own brand presence.

Within the stall system, each vendor can customize signage and materials in a way that is unique

to their brand yet maintains harmony with the larger experience.
