Unit Duties and Unit Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities• Aviation and Ports Counsel – Aviation and Ports Counsel – Represents the office of

the Attorney General and provides legal counsel related to all Bureau operations.

• Aviation Administrator – Aviation Administrator – Oversees operation and maintenance of the State – owned general aviation airports and Bradley International Airport including building and grounds maintenance, airport operations, security, aircraft rescue and fire fighting activities and administers aviation industry programs.

• Project Management – Project Management – Oversees development and execution on the capital improvement program for all Bureau facilities.

• Maritime Manager – Maritime Manager – Oversees operation of the CT. River Ferries and State Pier and administers maritime industry programs.

• Leasing – Leasing – Facilitates the development, negotiation, execution and administration of agreements providing for the use and occupancy of Bureau facilities

• Fiscal and Administrative Services – Fiscal and Administrative Services – Directs and controls the financial interests and activities of the Bureau

• Bradley Project Development – Bradley Project Development – Directs and controls execution of vertical construction projects (terminal development) at Bradley International Airport

• Marketing and Air Service Development – Marketing and Air Service Development – Develops and implements promotional activities to attract and expand services provided at all Bureau facilities.

• CT River Ferry Captains – CT River Ferry Captains – Pilot ferry vessels serving the Chester - Hadlyme and Rocky Hill – Glastonbury crossings on the Connecticut River

• State Pier Coordinator - State Pier Coordinator - Provides on-site management representation, direction and control of pier operations, maintenance and security
