April to June 2018

Department of Students Affairs has organized the following Events

in Collaboration with Various Societies

The GRE Information Session was held on April 06th, 2018 by Department of Students Affairs in

collaboration with United State Education Foundation Pakistan.

Department of Students Affair arranged a lecture of “Director General Pakistan Rangers (Sindh)”

on April 18th, 2018 at NED Auditorium.

Girls’ Affairs Society is arranged a Picnic at Dream World Water Park for the Female Students of

NED University. The picnic was held on 21st April, 2018.

A Free Eye Camp was set up by Pakistan Eye Bank Society in collaboration with Medical

Department and Department of Students Affairs’ on April 25th 2018 at Medical Department, NED

University Main Campus.

An Anti-Corrupting Walk is arranged by Character Building Society and Department of Students

Affairs on April 26th 2018 from Students Facilities Centre to Administration Building.

April to June 2018

The representative of University of Manchester visited and delivers a Lecture for the Students of

NED University on 27th April 2018 at Video Conference Hall of Civil Engineering Department.

The Seminar on Robots Drones and Security was held on 03rd May 2018 by Department of

Students Affairs at Video Conference Hall of Civil Engineering Department.

The NED Talentia & Theater was held on 14th May 2018 by MOSAIC Society in collaboration with

Department of Students Affairs.

April to June 2018

The All Karachi Urdu Conventional Debate Competition was held on 16th May 2018 at

NED Auditorium organized by NED Debating Society in collaboration with Department of Students Affair.

As per Notification & Directive of Government of Sindh to designate 15th of Ramadan as the “Day of

Orphans” so among the proposed activities for Institutions, we are planned to conduct following two

activities on behalf of NED University.

i) We invited some orphans children as guest of NED University Students.

ii) Mr. Ghazanfar Hussain (Registrar), Mr. Jaseem Uddin (In-charge MOSAIC Society) & Dr. Ali

Hasan Mahmood (Controller Students Affairs) and also some students as volunteers visited Eidi

Orphanage on June 01, 2018 and we carry some gifts hampers for the kids.
